Re: Scaalets vs Ulster

Strong enough starting 15, maybe not quite that strong a bench.

Should be enough to go for the win.

Re: Scaalets vs Ulster

If what people are saying is try about McKinney acting billy big balls, then there is no way he should get next or near the squad until he earns it. I'd move Pienaar to 10 and start Porter with P Marshall assuming his impact sub role to inject some pace into the game. When Small P starts he tends t...

'Here' is Dublin. We get BBC NI but don't seem to pick up S4C. Don't have Satellite TV though which is probably why.

Re: Irish Squad for Autumn Internationals

Seeing as no body in the Sout watches Ulster games, I can imagine the outrage if PJ was to play ahead of the chosen one What will keep PJ out of the team is the perception by many that his place kicking is weak. I suspect that what's more likely to keep him out of the team is Madigan's versatility.

That backline with Olding and Payne reversed is one I'd also like to see.

Doubt we'll be playing boring, Kidney-ball rubbish rugby though. Pass to 10, boot, rinse and repeat.

Re: Autumn International Squad

I think it's a fair enough squad to be honest. A lot of those Leinster boys are there to hold tackle bags.

Re: Ulster V Leicester live.

I thought our pack was a bit worrying tonight - usually we have the beating of teams there but tonight I thought Leicester mostly had us. That said Tom Court seemed to adapt in the second half but scrums with Poite can be a total lottery. We were 9 ahead and Best was stupidly caught offside. That LB...

Re: Ulster V Leicester live.

Shame we gave them that LBP - could be problematic come the end of the group.
