Re: Leinster V glasgee: bbc alba

I hope Darce makes it but the general opinion on this forum is that he is useless anyway and shouldn't be picked for anything so I reckon we will have company in our best wishes for Gordon and Ulster fans will be hoping he makes it. Ulster fans will also be happy that their reject, I Boss, is likel...

Re: Marshall out of Ireland Tour

Possible space for a young centre to develop depth? Who do you think will be brought? Obviously we'd all like to see Olding taken, but in reality, O'Malley and McSharry are the obvious choices. McSharry, yes, he's had a good season, but is he not injured/coming back from injury at the minute? As fo...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow

Whilst our win at the RDS should have gone some way to erode their 'hold' over us I would still worry about our mental strength on the big occasion. We need Afoa back, badly. He has creased Healy before and will do so again IMO. I could imagine it will be a fairly nasty match as well IMO with messr...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow

Thought heaslip put in a decent shift but matawalu was man of the match and the yellow was a joke. Glasgow had been infringing repeatedly and had been warned, was fair enough IMO. The difference in intensity between our game and this couldn't have been more marked IMO. I'm just hoping this was as a...

Re: Positives and Negatives: Rabo Semi-Final

I see that according to Scarlet Fever, Roland handed us the match and with a neutral ref they would have won lol. Laughable! We've played them three times this season, beaten them comfortably 3 times - they didn't have a sniff of serious points until we were over 20 points ahead, had emptied our be...

Re: Gusherasms

I must say in fairness to him he came out with an amusing little interlude when the camera was scanning the crowd during an injury break - it came onto a guy holding his mclid over his murphy's to keep the rain out, and he just started freestyling, endorsing the chaps efforts to avoid dilution of hi...

Re: What's the story with Gilroy?

The co-ordinated bile to a perfectly reasonable question struck me as unecessarily ..."bitchy". Hence my impression in regard to your...preferences. (Also the suggestion that I was 'fixated' on Gilroy as a poster boy because I used the term, struck me as a little hysterical. ) All in all,...

Re: Pro12 Semi - Ulster vs. Scarlets

I personally felt Diack should have started in Twickers and we really missed him that day. I thiink it would be a mistake to drop him for the upcoming matches. I completely agree with this - obviously a few things went wrong in the QF, but I thought at the time that a self-inflicted problem was dro...

Re: Rory Best

I don't think there was a single person at Ravenhill who would disagree. The standing ovation for Rory spoke volumes. I hate to disagree but the ovation was as much for Nigel Brady coming on for his last ever match at Ravenhill. I did notice the Rory stuff for him coming off but many were on their ...

Re: Lions squad announcement

As for Hibbard - his stock rose at the same time as Best's fell. All in the timing for a Lions tour, as there are always players who would be nailed on a year before but then end up not getting there. Is anyone quibbling with Hibbard's selection? I would say that he and Youngs were nailed on after ...
