Re: Players In/Out 17/18
He needs to leave. To be replaced by? I don't see anybody out there who is any better. He's got big flaws in his game, but there are also things he does well. I agree. Irish underage rugby on twitter has said best school boy player this year has been Rhys O'Donnell, a 9 from RBAI. Not sure if he wi...

Re: |Schools cup 2017
Weather was a massive factor especially in second half. "Unimaginative coaching" surely cannot be labelled at a coaching panel who have produced three consecutive cup winning teams. Rhys O'Donnell is a class act. Unfortunately, Ulster can't really see that! Or Kieran Campbell to be more s...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Pathetic management on Ulster's part. Could have seen this coming...if campbell benched Rhys for Ulster 19s then he will have to save face and ignore him for Irish 19s....therealspratt wrote:Campbell ignores O'Donnell for the u20s. Wonderful.

Re: Schools Cup 2015
That's an interesting statistic. I have not followed either team this year but surely a triumph of teamwork and spirit?

A couple of hundred too many. Correct.scrum5 wrote:If you call a couple of hundred a minority then you're right, maybe Fit should send the Ulster Rugby values to RBAI.
A couple of hundred in a crowd of thousands does a dis service to the hundreds who behaved.

Re: Schools Cup 2015
I think to label the inst fans as a disgrace is harsh. I did hear that there was some misbehaviour. However, is it not a case of the minority ruining it for a majority? From watching many many finals over the years, how do you police uni students/past pupils from a school perspective? Sent from my i...

RBAI 7 was my MOM. He was everywhere it seemed and made some fantastic turnovers. Sometimes the unsung work goes amiss.

Re: Schools Cup 2015
Lyttle is young lad who came across from RBAI this year into Upper 6th in Methody. I was aware of him two years ago as I saw him as a 5 th former playing for RBAI. 2nd XV in the 2nd XV cup final against MCB. RBAI lost a close game that day but Robert was a standout player. He's bulked up since then...

Re: Schools Cup 2015
Who is Robert Lyttle all of a sudden? As an avid school rugby fan I have not seen him mentioned in the previous 2 schools cup finals with Methody? I assume he is a young fifth former coming through the ranks??
