Re: Glasgow v Ulster Friday February 19th 7:35pm KO

What I think tonight highlighted more than anything is that our post coetzee backrow, as seen in the second half, should able to cope without him if everything goes up the Lagan. Still think are backrow is going to struggle. A blunt back row with our back line is truely criminal. If we’re up agains...

Re: Contract Situation

I think we still need a big ball carrier for those one out carries. Leo is great in the wide margins where he can get his arms free for an offload. Having him crashing it up is not his style so where are we going to get it from? Not sure he needs to crash it up constantly though, he scares defender...

Hope we are keeping Jones and Timoney as well all the same.
Timoney looked like he had bulked up a little and seemed to be paying dividends in last few matches. Now if only Jones could also. Defensively Jones has been superb.

Re: Contract Situation

So Tom Willis, younger brother of our previous wasps target. What's the chances? Not played for England yet and IQ then. Would be worth a punt. Real shame if Allison can’t over come niggles and push on, open net currently. Saying that big opportunity for a fringe player somewhere to come in and bec...

Re: Contract Situation

Simply delighted that Madigan is with us for two more years. The fans have really taken to him as he still has great ability and I love to watch him play Completely agree, wasn’t over thrilled initially. But been the complete professional and seems to of bought in well. Glad it has worked out for h...

Re: Welcome to Ulster Leone Nakarawa

Sometimes it takes the right person to motivate a player or person to get the best out of them. A case of different strokes for different folks . It looks as If the Ulster Management are trying to hold McCann back a little and not play him too soon which might expose him to injury early in his care...

Any Dubliners joining Nakarawa KOTH?
No
Do we think that will change? or going to trust the academy forwards to keep making progress?

Re: Contract Situation

Just to put the cat amongst the pigeons. Not sure KOTH stated all those clues refer to the same signing? Though most appear to.

Re: Contract Situation

Yes you would imagine he would fit in quite well with the "collective speed" mantra, and he is obviously capable of playing on a wet ground too. If true, you wonder is he being signed as a 6 as I think up to now he's predominately been a lock Unless Carter is off, be like a Fardy type signing. Cove...

John Andrew the latest to get new deal till 2023.
Has overtaken McBurney who appears to have totally stalled.
McBurney really hasn’t lived up to hype since u20s. If he’s not carefully he’ll be 4th choice shortly.

Re: Contract Situation

If not NZ/SA, Leone Nakarawa - ex-Racing, Fijian international, can play lock / blindside, seemingly is a Christian and most importantly he is out of contract in June. Maybe Mata was the wrong Scottish Fijian :stir: He is also an Olympic Gold medalist. Very good shout, would definitely suit our ope...

Claassen or Dom Bird?
You are throwing out random names. You need to look at the clues.
One of them, if not both, are internationally capped back five players at Racing.
All ready ruled out Saffers and New Zealers. Think there is a clue in states/golden.
