No surprise there, American baseball bat getting involved with foreign affairs.

Re: Dementia risks from playing rugby.
I've read the article also, heartbreaking. However without being disingenuous it's an opinion based article.
Theres no clincical evidence to dam the SRU here, it could also be a mental health issue not brought on my a knock to the head.

Re: drop goals
A perfectly executed drop goal by Pollard today at precisely the right time. Extended the Boks lead to 13 knowing there was little chance of ABs scoring two converted tries.

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
Correct, its the drop off in quality at out half is the concern. The rest of the back line you could ship a couple of injuries in each position and still beat the best in the world. We're maybe being harsh on Irelands back up tens. I think you beat everyone bar New Zealand, France, England and South...

Re: URC Fixtures 2022/23
My mate has notified me that he’s going to be turning up with his wife and four tickets for The Cure in December. If we’re scheduled to play in Italy that weekend then there’s a distinct possibility he’ll find the front door key under the doormat. Two weekends of European Cup and festive season int...

I think Rumn is still well capable of holding his own without any help from the likes of us.

Re: URC Fixtures 2022/23
We may only get weekends on Thursday v days/times. 99.9% certain they locked in exact days and times for first 10 fixtures last year when announced, with weekends only committed to for the remaining fixtures. The only gaurantee with the URC is that there is no guarantee they will follow same protoc...

Re: Dan Tuohy - Rugby 'rotten from the core'
Absolute gutter press, Paul Kimmage has had a chip on his shoulder for quite a while about drug usage in Irish rugby. I wish he could back up his claims rather than drag someones reputation through the mud. If I've got this correct. 1. Dan Tuohy retired from professional rugby due to injury 2. Altho...

Re: Duane Vermeulen
I’m on board with that. MC was largely anonymous against Wales. Agree. I don't honestly remember him coming close to a man of the match against the likes of a Leinster in a knock out game for Ulster which he should have been. I do remember him getting carded for a high shot down in the RDS when he ...

Re: Duane Vermeulen
DV in. MC out. Makes sense to me. I was reading a few comments on other social media platforms that some cannot understand this, advising MC is by far the superior player and DV8 is a spent force. DV8 is a sum of the parts player, he brought a lot of stability to our pack last season when things go...
