Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

I like Lowry at 10. Izzy looking good. Baloucoune has been excellent Hulme has had a good game. MCann to come in. Moore has potential The future is bright surely Been saying it for years, starting to doubt it. Stay strong, the future is bright. I would rather be in our position than there’s relying...

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

It’s 16 against 14. Take the key players off so not risking injury and focus on Bic Biro and Rainbow Cup. Agree we can’t win this competition now. Let’s concentrate on other fronts. Such a shame though really good start but it’s over now because of the red card. Even more frustrating because in my ...

If that’s red so was the leading with the head. We need consistency.

Re: Ulster ‘A’ v Leinster ‘A’ Fri 15th Jan 3pm KO Live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport NI website

Read Noel Francis to day in the tele — no wind- up no step — zip the ball out — he believes it can’t be developed — but I wouldn’t necessarily agree — it basically is finding the key to the zip and then developing it . For wind up read pulling your arms back ie an arms only pass Think you mean Neil...

Re: Ulster ‘A’ v Leinster ‘A’ Fri 15th Jan 3pm KO Live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport NI website

No its not -- watch Jackson or Ruan the arm movement is minimal the firmness and sureness of their pass comes from their wrists. The same thing is true in golf -- the power of the shot is provided by timing the use of the wrists. Why don’t you watch Aron Smith, some might say the best in the world....

Re: Ulster ‘A’ v Leinster ‘A’ Fri 15th Jan 3pm KO Live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport NI website

He also needs to learn to pass with his wrists rather than swing with his arms . The power in a pass comes from the wrists -- the arms only provide direction. For those who disbelieve try passing with out using your wrists and using arms only -- you'll lob the ball in the air towards the person. Fo...

Re: Ulster v Munster Sat Jan 2 5:15pm KO

Not sure what James Hume does to keep getting picked. After looking good for his first few caps he’s been nowhere to be seen for his last half a dozen. Disagree. His passing was excellent this evening. He isn’t the finished article but has huge potential. Very few players are the finished article t...

Re: Heineken Round 2 Gloucester Away Sat Dec 19 3:15pm

Would like to see one of the young backrow trio of McCann, Allison or Marcus Rea given a start against Connacht, alongside a couple of the seasoned pro’s (2 from Marcell, Jordi and Reidy, depending upon availability). Totally agree we need to get McCann involved. He surely is the future? Let’s just...

Re: Heineken Round 2 Gloucester Away Sat Dec 19 3:15pm

Agree with the majority that the referee was appalling. Mostly for both sides in fairness (from a Gloucester point of view he awarded them a penalty for us holding on in the first 5 mins when there was absolutely no clear release by the tackler but yet 5 mins later penalised the exact same player fo...
