Re: Big World of Rugby

Stand corrected! Thanks Neil they still did it for a bag of gold :thumleft: In 1972 Scotland and Wales refused to travel to Dublin for their matches. England had no problem coming the following year. English Rugby has always been a better friend to us. Indeed they did. I think they may even have go...

Rats! I signed up for £99 assuming it wouldn't get any cheaper.

Re: Ulster v Glasgow Sat Sep 21 7:45pm KO

Sad that we start the season with between 6 and 9 injuries. That's the nature of the game I'm afraid. I assume all of the other senior teams are in pretty much the same boat.

Re: Are we allowed to talk about KINGSPAN

Love it, lads. Shows just how daft the whole situation was, is and probably always will be.
I was all for the Maze or a new waterfront site for all three sports (and others). Far too sensible an idea.

Re: team ? for Benetton

Just me or have we some big young lumps? McNabney, Brigg, McKillop, Irvine. Of course it takes more that size, but a big rig to work with certainly helps. I read an article saying we rank 5th out of all URC sides for weight/height. Hopefully not all blubber but prime ribeye fast twitch muscle [emoj...

If you're bored and want to be miserable as well, have a read at Delloitte's recent document on the future of sport: https://www.deloitte.com/content/dam/assets-zone2/uk/en/docs/services/financial-advisory/2024/deloitte-future-of-sport-2024-seizing-the-moment-v1.pdf The last section on trust is a li...

Yes, I thought that myself. All else being equal, bigger is better than smaller.

Has Lowry put on a pound or two as well?

Re: team ? for Benetton

Not impressed with Telfer. Seemed to be badly out of condition. After half time I was going to put my season on 'We buy any season ticket' but they did better in the last quarter so I'll probably just keep it. Interesting as I see he got MOM…you must know something different to those making that ca...

Re: Are we allowed to talk about KINGSPAN

If we're looking for a crumb of comfort, at least Kingspan held up their hands and admitted that some of their people were naughty boys. No-one else seems to have done this so far. >EW

Re: Any links to watch the match

Will the Exeter match be shown next week? Exeter hosting Ospreys in a Pre-Season game on Saturday, so if that is streamed etc, then fair chance of one for the Ulster game. No mention of a stream on the Exeter website for tomorrow's game, so fair assumption no stream for Exeter Ulster next week. Rats!
