Never a truer word... sadly.

I wouldn't quite put all the older players in the same basket but the last part is spot on.

Re: Clermont v Ulster, Saturday April 13 12:30pm (UK Time) TNT Sports - Actual Channel TBC

My reckoning is that all on here are loyal Ulster fans who care. Nobody is going to be rushing off to support the Mexicans instead. As has been shown buying in expensive NIQ players is not the panacea for the problems. The problems are systemic and need a root and branch change. It will take time b...

Re: Any word on the Academy?

And there's the rub. Good coaches in a good school set-up lead to good players feeling the pleasure of playing and developing a vision and aspirations. Good players in a poor set-up with poor coaches get fed up. Passionate engagement becomes frustration, no real hunger to continue after school and a...

Just watched the highlights. On another day, two of our tries could have been ruled out for forward passes. Had to love Big Stu's utter disdain for the attempted tackle, both as it happened and in his looks of contempt after.

Re: Any word on the Academy?

Shocking - this sort of game is a waste of time and resource by Ulster. None of those kids will be anywhere near pro rugby. That year group one of the weakest yet. Defiantly. The next two batch u20s from Ulster are probably the weakest in a decade, if not longer. I would go as far as to include cur...

Re: Montpellier v Ulster, Sunday April 7 12:30pm KO (UK Time), Viaplay Sports

I listened to the second half of the match on the radio so I've only Gusher's commentary to go on. His most frequent comment was something like, 'Oh no, he's dropped it.' If Montpellier hadn't imploded, we'd have been stuffed and all because we conistently fail to do the simple things correctly. It'...

Perhaps we should employ the Chinese policy of national service. Everyone plays one year for Ulster.
Fabulous idea.

Now that Cheetahs are out, so no Ruan back at Ravers, is there any point staying in the competition?

Ospreys and Sale both tried hard to throw the game and Sale finally came out on top in that contest with a duff attacking lineout to hand Ospreys the win.

Murphy and de Klerk are quality. I’m absolutely delighted with this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Regardless of how good they are, more Leinster cast offs is frustrating I get what you’re saying but if they are better than what we have (which they are) then you take them no problem. Re: Petrie departs…..

I don't want them sponsored by Shell or BP either thanks. Grenfell was less than 7yrs ago, hardly comparable to VW and the Nazis. Kingspan are complicit in the death of nearly 100 people. They bodged their fire safety tests and saw it as an internal 'joke'. Players have been sacked for less. Maybe ...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports

I'd bite someone's arm off for a point. But tbf I'd also settle for the likes of McCann, Wilson, Sheridan to all have good games in a losing battle. And maybe for our backline to show some sort of positives. Feel like our best chance of a point is if they put 50 points on us before half time then p...
