Re: Rainbow Cup

Just read Rum's comment about a coach's challenge. Same suggestion made on Babbling Brook and I have some sympathy for it. Let the players get on with playing.

Re: Rainbow Cup

I've just been looking in on Babbling Brook's discussion on Friday's match. I must say it wasn't at all a bad discussion and there were a lot of sensible things said about us. Does anyone here ever contribute there? I know we have a few folk from other teams on here (and very welcome you are, lads) ...

Re: Rainbow Cup

Not often I look back on a defeat and say, 'Actually, that wasn't bad.' We kept playing for the full 80 minutes and more with vigour and intensity. Still some basic skills weaknesses and what on earth went wrong with the lineout? (and Leinster's as well). Why try a delicate set move once and not hav...

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Been a while since we've had anything in this thread.

Edwin Poots - born to bore. DUP taking the UUP road to nowhere?

I'm posting this with the expectation that Poots's election won't even come close to being interesting enough for anyone to respond to.

Re: Rory McIlroy

Looks like Arlene is wearing golf shoes. Does she play? She'll have a lot more time for it now.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/57076900 Am I being too hard when I say, 'Catch a grip, big lad. This is what we grown-ups call 'disappointment'. It's not particularly nice but life goes on. And, while I'm at it, if it doesn't motivate you to bust a gut to play like a demon in your next mat...

Re: Munster 2020/21

I heard a story yesterday. Senior and academy players in the four provinces had a 25% pay cut but centrally contracted players were not affected. Peter O'Mahoney stood up and said that this wasn't fair and led a move for centrally contracted players to get the same pay cut. If it's true, fair play t...

A good rant is always a bit of fun. He has at least one point... some of Gatland's choices do seem bizarre, to say the least.

Re: Rainbow Cup

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/57038362 Mcwhirter lays it on the line. Ulster are finished??!! Not exactly rocket science from McWhirter and Henry. These two guys along with Ferris are great at the criticism. Could they do anything to help rather than mouthing off? True enough, but, just b...

Re: Rainbow Cup

Munster were stronger, more aggressive, better drilled, had better basic skills and deserved to win by almost thirty points. Three years since we lost three in a row, how long will it be next week since we lost four in a row?
No injuries is the only positive.

Re: Rory McIlroy

-1 after 7, chasing -5. Keep your head, son, a couple of wee birdies and no bogies and you're there or thereabouts.
