Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
Clean sweep for the Southern Hemisphere sides this weekend. Only the Welsh really came close and could have won. Irish a fair score, the English were flattered by the two late scores and a fair result in Argentina. Could easily be a whitewash through the rest of the series.

Re: Pre Season Games 2022/23
To be fair, a decent number of comments were saying that PJ should be back in contention for a green shirt.

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
NZ got the rub of the green and it went against Ireland throughout the match. Of course this is a classic example of 'a good team makes its own luck'!

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
Ieland looked a far better team when TOT and Tredders came on! Well, in my imagination anyway.
Although TOT did look ok, including a rather fine little cameo at scrum half.

Whitechapel is not bad, so long as you can accept the daftness of the premise that there at least four series of murders that imitate grisly historical seril killers.

Re: What annoys people????
Of course, there could be Biblical roots: Revelation 1:7 ‘Look, he is coming with the clouds,’ and ‘every eye will see him, even those who pierced him’; and all peoples on earth ‘will mourn because of him.’ So shall it be! Amen.' Or if you prefer the King James version: 'Behold, he cometh with cloud...

Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
Do you actually have to be a Maori to play for the Maoris or will a couple of Ta Moko tattoos and a liking for Kia Ora suffice? You don't have to be Irish to play for Ireland. Yes. Maoris and hobbits are welcome. :thumleft: Bundee Aki playing for Ireland and Shaun Stevenson playing for the Maoris. ...

Re: Next season's Heineken Cup
Many thanks Neill and BR. As clear a summary and rationale as I've ever seen. If I was in control, I'd go for 8 groups of 3 (one URC, one English, one French in each) playing home and away, no seeding (cup competitions are all about the luck of the draw), winners into the quarter finals. By all mean...

Re: Next season's Heineken Cup
Can somebody help me to understand why we have this convoluted system of matches?
How do they choose who plays who?
What are the advantages of this system?
What's wrong with wee groups of four as before?

Of course, why didn't I spot it... all comes down to cash. Well, almost all. For me, a match is still a match, 'traning session' or not.
