Re: Film Review Section *** NEWish ***

£3.50 Tuesday in Larne and Dominos 2 for 1. Enjoyed. Saw BFG last week but cinema was full of children. I was there with my middle child - my daughter who is 34.

Re: Biblical matters

I agree Baggy. I was going to post something similar. Let's get back to rugby.

Re: Biblical matters

Evening Baggy. I've been busy today and I see you have busy on this topic. I don't think I can get round to responding to every point. I accept your point that atheism is not a belief system. It is actually a non-belief system. Strange to be labelled by what you don't believe in rather than what you...

Re: Biblical matters

What references do you have for this Baggy? I quoted verses not to preach at people but to show what the bible says not some idiot's interpretation of it. Certainly the law in the Old Testament is strict but remember these were rules for a large number of people leading a nomadic life. At a medical ...

Re: Biblical matters

At our age (I think for most of us) we have fairly fixed views. I just wanted to point out that you cannot judge Christianity by the rantings of some deluded and probably rich American. It is like comparing the beliefs of all atheists with the actions of Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao. Debates like this us...

Re: Biblical matters

I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, just stating my opinion. In my bible Jesus never preached hell, fire and brimstone. I was not trying to preach quoting verses. Most of the people you are talking about quote God's law to condemn those they disagree with. My bible tells me to fulfill God's law ...

Re: Biblical matters

I hesitate to enter this debate but as one of the "deluded" who considers himself a Christian I thought I would state my opinion - not seeking to persuade anyone. I did not watch the YouTube article because my reaction would be similar to Baggy's. It is easy to call the wrath of God down o...

Re: Congratulations .............. I suppose.

Thanks, this gives me some consolation. Over the past 2 years almost every person I have fought with has been honoured by the queen. I am beginning to think the unthinkable that I may have been on the wrong side of all my arguments.

Re: Ulster are bottle merchants

I was in the West stand. We had some banter with Glasgow fans and handshakes and good wishes at the final whistle. On leaving the ground, as we walked along some young people were conversing about the match in a way they meant us to hear. We had no hassle. Also, all the Ulster fans in our area appla...

Glasgow website says no parking close to the ground. Was going to call it a stadium but decided against.

Heathrow to Twickenham is only a few miles but a nightmare to do bit is much easier to travel from central London to Twickenham :stout:

Re: Heineken Semi finals

Nobody in Dublin gave the team a chance so I for one would be proud of the effort. We refused to play any rugby and kept them under control for a long long time. Leinster were excellent in scrum and line out. To be honest I don't think Leinster will give a toss about Friday. I imagine they will pla...
