Re: Iain Henderson
he played 8 all the way through school, but i wouldnt read a massive amount into that as pretty much all quality school age players are put into the glory positions where they can see a lot of ball. so far as i can see, if he continues to pack on the muscle, he will be a second row. one of these new...

Re: KNOW YOUR ENEMY
the game is there for the winning. if we can get our heads around their history in Europe and the atmosphere, there is no good reason why we should not win this game. i genuinely believe that the ulster 15 that will step on to the field on sunday are a superior group of players than the munster 15. ...

Re: Cardiff - AWAY - February ..
ticket booked for the south terrace. regarding pubs to meet at and get a wee drink on beforehand, you have the gatekeeper on westgate street which is basically across the road from CAP, and the prince of wales which is on the corner of st marys street/wood street (2 minute walk from the ground). bot...

if i was to remove all emotion from it and head to the bookies, i would say northampton by less than 5 pts.

Re: Scarlets throw their toys out
it was a poor refereeing performance no doubt, but every team has been through similar, especially away from home and at the hands of scottish referees.
nigel davies needs a dose of sack up.
i doubt any of them wrote to the IRB complaining about peter allan's call at the millenium stadium....

yeah if he'd been more on the ball, two, maybe all three of our tries would have been disallowed for forward passes...tommya wrote:Only reason it was way too close for comfort was that incompetent bungling blind idiot Jones, he make Peter Allan look competent.

can anyone tell me the point of picking hurley on the wing? he's not the youngest, hasn't got great pace, and will never get near the full irish side. fionn carr has been really hard done by.

Re: Ireland Squad for Autumn Internationals
not sure what fionn carr needs to do to get in to an ireland squad. the lad has been scoring tries for fun. in a world cup year i fail to see what deccie can get from shaggy or duffy that he hasnt seen already. this is a worringly short sighted decision.

dead happy to see humphreys at 10. NOC has done ok but plays much too deep for my liking. hopefully IH will play nice and close to the gainline and give our outside backs the chance to make some telling breaks. roll on friday.

Re: Ulster v Scarlets
ryan caldwell shows further proof that he hasn't the brains to be anything but a liability.
and, not that excuses the performance, but the ref was shocking, as most scottish refs tend to be.
