Re: Clermont v Ulster Sat 11 Dec 5.30pm

Thinking about Belfast to Lyon. Looks easier to get from Lyon to Clermont than from Paris. Lyon to CF is bus (or a train in the unlikely event that they are running the weekend that Ulster comes). Presumably you can still do Paris to CF by plane. Just checked £150 ex DUB Not for me this year though.

Re: Ulster v Emirates Lions Friday October 15th 7:35pm KO

Play thankfully didn't descend into that predictable whistle every two minutes as field position was enhanced by another 50/50 decision being given as a penalty -- and some of that is down to the attitude and willingness of the the players on both sides to allow the game to be played without lookin...

in a game that was NOT spoilt by a succession of scrum resets and endless TMO referrals
Coming in to say exactly the same.

Timoney was the best player on the pitch, but man of the match was Mike Adamson. Hats off sir, well refereed.
Refat the arms park tonight was awful.

Re: United Rugby Championship

Munster, Zebre, Cardiff, Scarlets visit 🇿🇦 end of November* Ulster, Ospreys, Edinburgh & Dragons end of March Leinster, Connacht, Benetton & Glasgow during April. *1st group may well end up playing their games in 🇮🇹 as the plans were put in place before 🇿🇦 was removed from red list. UPDATE Munster,...

Re: What are you drinking?

Picked up four cans of the Guinness 0.0 out of sheer novelty. It’s not half bad and I’d rate it as slightly more than 90% as good as the normal canned stuff. A slightly lesser mouth feel than a drought pint and it doesn’t have the same irony kick at the end. Slight chocolate notes. It pours like Gu...

Re: URSC

I am not a big consumer of URSC services. Over the years, I've attended a few socials, got a few busses and bought a few tickets for Lansdowne. However for a tenner or so, I think they provide a service which is different to and compliments the almost purely commercial service provided by UR. I hope...

Re: United Rugby Championship

Is it only me thinking that pricing the South African games as category A seems a bit ambitious/greedy. The only game I’ll miss this side of Christmas but don’t mind one bit having saw the prices. I’m not yet a season ticket holder I’ll add. That is taking the pîss. Has anyone asked Petrie to expla...

Fermain, Saturday night in Northampton will indeed be quite messy. I look forward to slurring to you and the family.
3.15 sunday doesnt even give time for sunday lunch.
If anyone sees me at the match, please strongly suggest that I have a burger or two.
