Yep ...

... so late it's just arrived now.

Barnesie still missed it.

But if any Ulster player had as good a game as Barnesie, we might have run them a lot closer.

Re: And today, joining the underground .....

Couple of nights ago - in the wee small hours - the death of Gene Wilder was in the front page top ten most read on BBC News website. The fact that he died a few years ago doesn't seem to matter much. Spose me clicking on it perpetuated it in the most read. :duh: I reckon there's someone run...

Re: Semi Final Edinburgh v Ulster Sat Sep 5 7:35pm

I watched part of the other semi last night and switched off because I was bored. Mightn't be a bad thing that Leinster think they only have to turn up to win. Of course that's probably true, but hey, let's give it a lash - they weren't great last night in the bit that I saw. Match littered by errors...

What do you/ can you change for second half?
Very little I fear. Our perennial problem is no depth.
Not a bad result for a team with no depth. Bench changed it.

Re: Ulster vs Leinster at the Aviva 29/8/20

Depressing couple of weeks. We have been the rustiest and least well-conditioned Irish side on show by some distance IMO - which is concerning.. I guess you have to be careful not to read too much into what are effectively pre-season games, but my big concerns/frustrations are: - big recruitment fa...

Re: Portrush

Had a cracking 24 hours there this weekend. Watched Rory in Kiwi’s Brew Bar (my namesake behind the bar was a top lad). The seafood thermidore at Ramore Wine Bar was excellent, especially the prawns. I suspect I’m not the first person on here to have ordered that. Finished off with some karaoke in ...

Re: Ulster V Connacht at the Aviva Sunday 23rd August

How poor was that!! Burns is not a captain. What does he bring to the side? He has had enough time but makes no waves. Stockdale is not a fullback. Slow and frequently bewildered. Moore? Disgraceful shape for a professional sportsman. Cooney and Coetzee taken off? Herring never appeared. I have no ...

Re: Ulster V Connacht at the Aviva Sunday 23rd August

Why was the former Connacht scrum half reffing this match? Dunno, but he was alright. Reckon Dan was more intent on giving as many as possible some game time today. This and next week are the pre-season friendlies before the league proper against Embra. A win today might have helped the confidence ...
