In Pienaar's defence he got bugger all protection from his pack.

Re: Ulster v Zebre
To name but a few... Court v McGrath Tuohy v Toner Jackson v Madigan Marshall v D'Arcy Cave v anyone and everyone Trimble and Gilroy v D.Kearney That's quite a few mismatches IMO, tuohy v toner? That's hardly fair!! You know that and I know that but it would be nice to force the point home ne...

Re: Ulster v Zebre
I'm not sure whether the discussion here is about the team for Zebre or the team for Leinster but just regarding the Leinster game surely our lads will be bursting to have a crack at Ireland...sorry I mean Leinster...to prove a point. To name but a few... Court v McGrath Tuohy v Toner Jackson v Madi...

Re: How do we prepare for rounds 5&6?
Do we not need to fight for all league points possible? We are only 4th in the table plus who knows what the criteria for European competition will be next season. I wouldn't be happy with sending a Ravens team down to Dublin at all. Rotate by all means but no to the extent of previous years. Wholes...

Re: Anscombe eager to extend Ulster stay Yes / No
Anscombe ticks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned. We win the vast majority
of our games, we play an attractive brand of rugby and we are developing the next generation of Ulster and Ireland players very nicely.
The question is whether we have a decent competition or two to compete in next year.

Re: Italiano-British Isles League
Firstly I like the current set up and I genuinely think that if people (mainly the Welsh) gave the Pro 12 a chance it would be a terrific league. However it seems they want to look eastwards in the future and if they do jump ship that would leave us in a horrible bind. People will say oh lets have a...

Re: The Academy[2013-2014]
Do we know if there any more gems coming out the youth ranks like Olding, Henderson and Jackson? We've been spoilt recently and I've heard of some of them like Scholes and Joyce, both are talked about, but it feels much less so than Henderson and Olding we're say 2 years ago. Obviously it's impossi...

Jack McGrath (good and promising player that he is) for Jared Payne just does not compute.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
For us to gain an Irish international from another province I would be very surprised if we didn't have to sacrifice an international ourselves. With one of Olding and Marshall not starting for us regularly in big games, I would think it would be one of them heading to Mexico to play regular HC rug...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
I'd be happy with McGrath but as I said before Leinster need a centre and we've loads... Aye well if you think we have loads name 3 Rabo standard or higher that are available this week then Depends on who is fit! Hmmmm....Marshall, Cave, Payne (is he fit?), Farrell (some will argue he isn't Rabo st...

Re: Ireland v. New Zealand
At various times, I've been disillusioned or unhappy with Ireland selection. I don't think I've ever actually found myself angry before. 16.5 of 23 players from one province? No apparent attempt to build for the future rather a default back to the same old faces? If this same old faces stood a chan...
