Re: Ospreys vs Ulster Sat 7th May 15:00 SS1

BBC have the game listed for Saturday as well as Sky. None of the other channels can confirmed which game they are showing, also nothing on Pro 12 site. The Sky presenter at the end of the coverage said no decision had been made on which game they were going to show. Chances are quite a few if not ...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Conor Finn didn't really get the opportunity to show his pace yesterday but from what I saw in the semi final he has the pace and talent to make it the professional level.

Re: Dr H..... On leaving Ulster

Article says Challenge Cup is only route for Gloucester into the Champions' Cup but I'm pretty sure the rules have changed this season and winning the Challenge Cup does not carry with it automatic qualification into the Champions Cup.

Re: Schools Cup 2015

Methody dominated territory and possession in the second half but Wallace took the one clear chance that came their way. The door is now open for them to create some history and win the Schools Cup for the first time.

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

What has happened to Dungannon? Hammered by over 50 points at home to Banbridge last Saturday and in real danger of being relegated for a second successive season.

Re: Connacht

Connacht are a much improved side but have never really competed well at Ravenhill (last win was in 1960) and while pressure is on Ulster to win, otherwise they will be caught by Connacht in the league table, the home team will go into this game as favourites. As already mentioned Connacht may rest ...

First Trust Senior Cup Final!

Was at a wet and windy Ravenhill to see favourites Ballynahinch defeat a plucky Malone side by 17 points to 10 in an entertaining game despite the poor conditions. The 'Hinch outscored their opponents by 3 tries to 1 and possessed in their No. 8 Michael Graham the best player on the pitch. There was...

Re: First Scarlets Game in December

I see from the following BT have both the games. What a Bollix. I refuse to get BT having Sky. It means invading a neighbours house at meal time or da pub. http://sport.bt.com/rugbyunionhub/rugbyunion/live-rugby-union-on-bt-sport-S11376642081600 It stinks of some sort of deal between both to get mo...

Ulsters' fixtures confirmed up to Christmas but still no set date for match vs Dragons at home and no host broadcaster yet for majority of home games - http://www.ulsterrugby.com/Match/FixturesResults.aspx

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

If Setanta win the right to Ulster games instead of BBC2NI then the following will be the results: (1) Far less viewers in NI will watch Ulster home games - Setanta is only available on satellite platform and I can't see many viewers here subscribing to it even if they have satellite. Apart from the...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

If Setanta end up showing Ulster home games this will put rugby viewers in NI at a distinct disadvantage compared to those in Scotland and Wales who will have FTA rugby and we won't. Also as I understand it, BBC Alba is on a shoestring budget so how come they can afford rights and there seems a prob...

Re: Is this the end of Friday night rugby?

Dear Confused, Many many schoolboy errors in your post, it appears you have one as much as no research on the subject. SKY are a good addition to the range of broadcasters but will cover a mere 30 something games over the season, the bulk of the rest available in various arts & arts by the vari...
