With DH at the helm is easier for IRFU to give Ulster Rugby a good shake up.
Plus he’ll have a fair idea whats required and is likely to still have eyes and ears on the ground.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Do you think McGrath will be satisfied to be on the bench behind O’Sullivan for the big games next year?
Glad he’s coming to add depth to the squad.

Re: 2014 Autumn Internationals
Yeah, fullback. But game was fairly broken up by then. Having said that, he was instrumental in three of the tries. One perfect pass, one nice bit of innovation and one lovely line.

Re: Is the maul dead?
It's not as easy as it looks. If someone's not concentrating it all goes to pot. Far less risky to engage with the maul.
Donal Lenihan made an interesting point tonight regarding the good levels of intelligence which are common in Irish players and which Schmidt is now making the most of.

Re: 2014 Autumn Internationals
Poor old Henshaw, a good footballer who is about to be converted into a bish, bash bosher, just like Luke Marshall before him. Who says that it's Henshaw at 12, just as likely to be Payne. Maybe they'll play left and right like we used to at school. I'm Not sure that's a fact but it sounds plausibl...

Sexton starting, Madigan on the bench. No D'arcy.
Could be rubbish.

Guys,
Chill, not every team can win silverware every season! Hopefully we will learn and move on?
Target the league this year and who knows where it will lead. Some bloody good teams have never won anything!

Ludik on to the wing, Cave at 13 and Payne at 15. Simple.

VDM, Touhy and Iain at 4, 5 & 6 for the big games with Robbie rotated in to mix things up a bit in the Pro12. Add in O'Connor and Rocket and it's a case of perming 3 from 6. 90% of teams would be happy to have that, especially those limited to 4 non-indigenous players! but then what do you do w...

Q. How many teams could suffer the loss of Iain Henderson, Dan Touhy, Ruan Pienaar and Andy Trimble and still be competitive against the billionaire funded European Champions, whilst still refusing to play an international class 15 in his correct position at the expense of a totally committed intern...

Re: Ulster Underage Interpros 2014
A lot of these guys played mini-rugby. Good to see. On another note, totally agree that the schools team is stronger than the u18 club team. Not much difference between the better players in each team but the "base of the pyramid" is much wider in schools rugby plus the coaching is general...

How many hard yards did Big Dan make tonight? Both 2nd Rows got through an awful lot of work.
