Re: Ulster v Scarlets Sunday 7:35pm

In real time Treadwell's card was never red. I do think slow mo gives a false perspective on these things and doesn't really give a true perspective on players' natural reaction times or any real indication of intent in an incident that was essentially a split second event. Agree, I'd actually miss...

Re: ULSTER MOTM vs Scarlets

Thought Eric O'Sullivan was very good in the loose tonight. Recovered well after being put on his rear end by Sione Kalamafoni early on. Reidy again very good.

Re: Ulster v Scarlets Sunday 7:35pm

Ulster played their get out of jail free card tonight. Bar the yellow, Treadwell was very good tonight but why the TMO encouraged the ref to reduce the sanction is beyond me. Wasn't malicious or anything but it's a clear red card going by the high tackle framework. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapata...

Re: Ulster v Scarlets Sunday 7:35pm

Another game Ulster should be winning if they're to stake a claim for the title this season.

Re: Toulouse v Ulster Heineken QF

Wish I shared Ugo's optimism but I can't look past that Toulouse side. Will be a very long afternoon if we're beaten up front.

Re: The run in

Wouldn't rest Stockdale. He'll want to make amends so from the first set piece give him a one on one with his opposite winger. Beats most players one on one so should act as a confidence builder. Though he doesn't strike me as someone who loses confidence easily. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk

Re: Scarlets vs Ulster MOTM

Henderson has come back after the 2017 Lions tour a different beast. Ulster are so much better when he's on the pitch.

Re: Marcell Coetzee

The guys who turn themselves into monsters always break and often as not it's joint issues. Too much muscle mass and power for the joints and supporting structures. It was interestig It was interesting to hear the Leinster coaches talk about how Robbie Henshaw had actually "de-bulked" during his re...

Think the band could learn how to play Basket Case by Green Day before the playoff v Ospreys?

Re: More uninformed crap

Clicks must have been down on Irish Indo website this week. Can't think of any other logical reason. Meanwhile, John Cooney has weighed in with a knockout blow that the Jackel would have been proud of... Didn't think anyone could replace St Pienaar but Cooney is doing a magnificent job of it :fleg: ...

Re: Ulster V Edinburgh

Deysel was a monster on the deck with four turnovers last night. In fact he's been quite decent at that all season as he has the most in the Ulster squad. It's just a pity that the rest of his game has been lacking. He stepped up in a ball carrying capacity last night which took a lot of pressure of...

Re: Will Addison

I don't know much about Addison; it seems a strange choice to bring in another 'utility' player but par for the course with Deysel and that other Saffer who doesn't play and so on. I dunno who's scouring the SA player-base for talent but you'd think someone would have looked at Curwin Bosch as one ...

How was Tadhg Beirne not yellow carded? Got away with murder out there... some would say he'll fit right in at Munster.

Anyone have a link to re-watch the match? Super game... one of the few Ulster matches in the last few seasons that I will remember... for the right reasons. Great atmosphere. Looking to relive it! Ta.

Re: Saints v Ulsterrrrr

Very poor preseason 30 points for 81 against, fair enough a lot of players got a run out but why do we not have 3 preseason matches, 2 like we have had and a third where the starting team for the league get a run together is far better preparation than what we have had. Did we not use to have 3 pre...
