Am hoping to drop in on wee Martin when I come over for the game in Galway.
I visited Boyle. Didn't see Martin but spotted a few familar locations from the show.

Series 3 was a bit of a diappointment though.

Re: World Cup News

I was at the game. It was an enjoyable day out, good weather, lots of families and an amazing view of the pre-eclipse moon after the game. The Mexican wavers can feck right off, however. I don't know if there is that much to say about the rugby given the opposition who were game, but quite limited....

Re: RWC - Group C

Getting back to the trains was a bit of a challenge of course, not so much due to the volume of fans, but in terms of trying to find a gap though the hordes of volunteers/do-gooders desperately trying to engage you in conversation and obtain feedback about one's game day experience. They call themse...

Re: RWC - Group C

I went.

The game had its moments.

The seats near the tunnel have the largest legroom and, especially, side room than any ground I've been to.

Re: World Cup News

The team that draws Ireland in the last 8 always seems to have had a fairly easy ride. The Saffers are trying to console themselves with the fact that Japan beat Spain in the early stages of the Wendyball World Cup. Apples and oranges. It was in the Olympics which makes it an even smaller straw to ...

Re: TMO

Went to the game last night. It didn't look quite right to the naked eye and most people weren't expecting a try. The amount of booing when the replays continued after the ref gave it, helped with a shot of a guilty looking Noah, was incredible given that the place was full to the throat with French...

Bishop's Stortford Rugby Football Club

If any of you guys fancy a trip across the water, England's inaugral 'Rugby Club of the Year' (as of last week) is based just a few miles from Stansted Airport and plays in National Two South. Coach Andy Long used to play with Roger for the Saints. The pre-booked lunches are guaranteed to set you up...

I don't wear a watch either but I think most of those wee portable telephones can tell you what the time is!

Re: Cricket season

Have been to a couple of days and saw 25 wickets. It's been a crazy series and England's batting stats do not look like they belong to a team that's 3-1 up! I managed not to disgrace myself yesterday playing in the same side as two lads who played in this year's Big Bash - glad they were on our team !
