God forbid if McCann picks up a knock and we have to bring on Matty. . . .
Reffell is playing for the A team tomorrow so may come into the equation for the QF.

Stormers haven’t picked the kids to play the Lions.

Ulster’s first look at Mr Snyman.

He’s scored as many tries since March as he has for SA and Bulls combined.

Re: Welcome to Ulster, Aidan Morgan.

Has anyone actually seen the guy kick for touch from a penalty?

There’s a touch finder from open play down the right in his highlights reel that Dupont would be proud of.

Fwiw I don’t think he’s especially reminiscent of Lowry at all. Much smoother runner, a stronger fend and a better off-loader.

Re: Rugby on the Box

It’s potentially an interesting debate, bar the fact that the genie is well and truly out of the bottle. Worth noting that there’s still a block on live footy being shown on tele at 3pm on a Saturday. If you live beyond a certain radius of Belfast, and Ulster insist on pressing for Friday night rugb...

Looks like we play Leinster at Ravenhill on the night before they, sorry Ireland, play Australia.

Tough start and a tough run in.

The email this week about expressions of interest for the SA games was a bit of a giveaway….

Re: Live Stream, Q & A Tuesday May 28

Enjoyed hugh being as scathing as a CEO can about about the press coverage of the new kit deal. He was at pains to say this was the best kit deal ulster have ever had and that the forced cut price deal story was absolute nonsense. I haven’t seen an updating piece in the BT by Adam about the Castore...

Re: Welcome to Ulster, Aidan Morgan.

Well yes. I didn’t want to interrupt the pertinent questioning of the panel last night regarding kit colour, whether or not DHumph would have forced RP out, kick off times and ‘laps of honour’ after the game but it will be interesting to see how things pan out at 10. What I think may happen is that ...

Re: Live Stream, Q & A Tuesday May 28

Nothing we didn’t already know, in terms of it having been an unhappy camp earlier in the season, but I felt he dwelt on it for a bit longer than was necessary (if it was necessary to mention it all). Bryn was at pains to make it clear that signings are by no means all down to him, which was probabl...

Re: Welcome to Ulster, Aidan Morgan.

Bryn said he was surprised that there were a few 10s available.

We’ve ended up with the IQ one.

I reckon he’ll go better than Sam Windsor.
