Had a couple of pints in Bullhouse East today.
I stuck to the Sour Suzy, a Berliner Weisse, from a Norwegian brewery.
Very refreshing with a lemony flavour.
By today’s standards, it was good value at four and a half quid a go.

“Look” has been popular in cricket for years.
Appears to be part of lesson number 1 on how to deal with the Press.

Seen Stevenson’s middle name?
Some Māori blood more or less required but merely identifying as a Māori could give you a shot.

Re: Injury Update
He was in a tracksuit at the end of the game with, I think, a slight limp. Groin/abdominal issue perhaps but hopefully not too bad, touch wood.
Didn’t look great for Healy though. Knee.

Ffs.
Looked in plenty of discomfort.
Couldn’t seem to put weight through his left leg as he went off but he appeared to be clutching his abdominal area when he was on the ground.

Re: Holiday flights and airport shambles
Had a fantastic 10 night trip to Amsterdam and Berlin. Local trains, buses, underground, canal boats etc were all excellent (albeit it was weird when we all had to mask up on the train between the two cities as we entered German territory). In Germany, over the summer, it’s NINE EUROS A MONTH to use...

Indeed.
I believe they were queuing outside the door of the service but there’s talk of a further get together.
I’ll post any details.

Re: Absent Friends
We’re in Berlin and just about to raise a glass to Stew McDowall who sadly passed on 16 June, having missed his funeral service today. He was the first to properly welcome us into the UR family and away trips, in particular, will never be the same again. It was a pleasure to be sitting next to him f...

Re: Cricket season
We were there, although each Heineken is getting progressively harder to get down. Strange day weather-wise today. Luckily, it warmed up for the fairly unremarkable conclusion. Willey was probably the pick of the bowlers and Carse bowled sharply at times. Salt was again effective without being parti...
