Go for it.

The black kit isn’t black btw. It’s “caviar”.

Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Re: Heineken Cup 2024/25

Leicester Lions are at home to Plymouth Albion on the day of our game in Nat League 1.

Good standard eg I’ve seen Theo Dan play for Stortford at that level.

Think I’ll go to that.

Never liked the look of it for some reason, although JK Simmons is always very watchable.

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?

Our successful mauls tended to have VM and marty moore at the front to stop any initial counter drive. We had neither for most of last year and the difference shone. Hopefully Duffy will bring some new ideas to our forwards work, I didn't see a role for both him and grant going forward. It wasn’t j...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?

Losing DV wasn’t likely to help the maul. You’d imagine that Roddy wouldn’t have been kept around for as long as he has unless he was at least doing some good stuff. Nick Timoney, for one, has obviously improved over the five years and the pack, generally speaking, tend to make their tackles if not ...

But Humph has banned signing NIQ front rows - that’s bound to solve everything.

Re: Summer tour to SA 2024

It’s a French C team.

Newcastle and the Argies shared a hatred of Thatcher. Think there’s only one or two in the squad for next season though.

Yes UlsterNo9, you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

Doesn’t have to be SH players either. Some decent young Lionels might fancy it.

Re: Squad depth 2024/25

It’s a load of horlix.

There’s not much depth in several positions.

Big drop off from Mack to Nash for instance.

Re: Summer tour to SA 2024

Some game that.

Would have been very unjust if they’d lost to the pen when Nash didn’t get a touch on the high ball.

Two cracking drop goals, both of which were clearly going over as soon as they left the boot.

JO was excellent. Good call by AF.

Re: Squad depth 2024/25

Worse than Nuciwank? Trumphreys is going to be a problem. Yes, it’s a lot of noise for very little substance. Not as though NIQ front rowers have been ahem propping up the Provinces. Equally, we’d have been stuffed without Jeff the season before last and it’s an area of the squad where numbers are ...

Interesting……

Hundreds of fat kids on the island of Ireland must be licking their lips and not just because it’s coming up to pop and biscuit time.
