Re: Ulster v Connacht live updates

Did nobody tell Connacht that they were supposed to be knackered at 60 mins? Never mind, would have taken the score at the start and really hope both sides make the playoffs

Re: Ulster v Connacht Friday 1st April 7:35pm BBCNI/TG4

November 1960, I was 11 months old and that's a f**king long time ago let me tell you! Are there any bright young things out there who can tell me what is the minimum nr of points that we need from these last four games bearing in mind that we play two top six sides? I'll be cocky and assume five fr...

Re: On this notable day...........

Great post, was only 10 but fond memories of watching it on a grainy black & white TV in rural Fermanagh where green and red looked basically identical, with my late Dad, good memories...

Re: Treviso v Ulster - Live

Just looked at the league table, you can knock it all you like but it is going to be hellish close, especially now that all sides are out of Europe and Cardiff/Dragons winning again, when the Italians do get to grips, bring it on (and yes, I know the international breaks equalise things, nevertheles...

Re: Sorries v Ulster

Not one of the best run compared to whom ? Ulster Rugby is not a club it is a sub province of the IRFU . The facilities available are better than most and the envy of many and the season ticket sales compare well and the price of admission in this day and age is very competitive . It is easy to bel...

Re: Sorries v Ulster

My view on Shane, I met him once four years ago and was impressed, ex Royal Marine, and had a clear vision, along with David H at the meeting, to make Ulster a leading force in club rugby. The statos may correct me but I think we have made the quarter finals or better for 5 years running, or in the ...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Do I sense a certain wider cynicism about the 'Fresh Start' (which SPAD on £100k+ thought that one out?) coming through on this Forum, emanating from some decidedly sexist remarks about our wee Caral! Forget it, happy new year to everyone, yes even including double brown bag politicians) and give An...

Re: Munster 2015-2016

Just spent 20 minutes typing a perfect post and lost it all somehow. so now the short version; No DOR should be considered for a Province (we only have four ffs) without having demonstrated the highest coaching and management skills at minimum Aviva/Top 14/Super Rugby standard. McCall, if he is even...

Re: Munster 2015-2016

Saracens, Wasps and now Leicester have destroyed the three Irish Provinces, all at home, in the European Cup! As a huge fan of Munster rugby it was hard to watch (btw is it only me that thinks Zebo is not the next coming - seems to me he is all show and selfish)! Perhaps the most insightful thing ho...

Re: Munster Vs Connacht

I find it incredible that some comments would deny Connacht the praise that they deserve. For me, yesterday's game reminded me of why I love rugby, the difference between the Connacht approach and the 'hoof the ball' Ulster/Leinster style was vast, the skill sets, fitness and passion of the Connacht...

Re: Ulster v the Fecking Mexican Empire, The Alamo Revisited

I don't know why it is but you always get the feeling that we will always lose out when it really matters, that we'll give away the stupid penalty, that we'll not win our lineout when it matters, that we'll get pushed back in the scrum when 5 metres out, that we'll knock the ball on (remember famous...
