Damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Hopefully the tournament rules are clear or the whole thing could be a farce.

Re: Rory Best Interview
He's an IRFU employee doing his master's bidding.
Doesn't give a toss about Ulster supporters.

Re: Rory Best Interview
I am not disparaging anyone else's view, why would any right thinking Ulster supporter not want Paddy and Stu playing week in week out but we have to face reality? What reality is that Brian? Today Johnny Petrie said in words of one syllable, they're not coming back. He doesn't really read the mood...

Re: 6N 2020
Stander just took 2019 off. Normal physical service resumed today.
Scotland turned the game into an arm wrestle as they often do. They slowed everything down and took advantage of laissez faire refereeing at the breakdown.

Re: Ulster Squad 2019/20
There's a whole lot of wishful thinking on the prop front. Warwick and McCall have both failed to develop and are not good enough.
If Murphy and McGrath feel they have no future in the Ireland setup they may jump ship to secure a big pay rise.

Re: 6N 2020
Murray was never going to be dropped for this one.
Aki? I just don't get him at all.

Re: 6N 2020
Yes, Stander's carrying. He's made 95 more carries this season than any other backrow in the squad (Deegan is second). What Shan said. In addition Stander takes the ball static where he used to be much more dynamic. He's getting no return for all those carries and that's why Deegan should start at ...

Re: 6N 2020
Doris really ought to be at 8. 96% tackle success rate this season, 31 defenders beaten and 3.5m per carry. Depends whether you want Stander’s carrying or POM’s lineout work at 6. Think I’d go for Stander at 6 and Deegan on the bench. And I reckon Addison, if fit, has at least as good a chance of s...

Re: 6N 2020
Murray is likely to start against Scotland. Stander shouldn't be near the 23 and POM may just scrape in as starting Doris and Deegan may be too much of a risk for the IRFU old farts.

Re: Rory Best Interview
I thought it was quite a good interview, but it's fairly depressing that after such a distinguished career, when he's now out of the system so can possible be a bit more candid about some things in hindsight, all anyone wants to talk about is a trial that didn't involve him other than the fact he t...

Re: Ulster v Bath
I only listened to the match on RTE Radio. Paddy Wallace was the co-commentator and he wasn't hugely impressed. Still who cares.....Ulster is in the 1/4 final and have plenty of time to correct the issues to give themselves some kind of chance. Line out may be fixable in the short term. However the...
