Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

I think it is somewhat disingenuous to label Methody and Davy Wells with that glass ceiling mindset. I too had the privilege of being coached by Davy and his primary goal was getting the best from each individual. Of course the School’s Cup was a major focus (just beneath beating Inst.!!) but you h...

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

If Leinster have eight (or so) fee paying feeder schools delivering quality players to their academy fair play to them. It works. These students realise if their good enough its the foundations of a career playing professional sport. They aren't going to get that with any other sport in Ireland. Th...

He was bought out of contract by a French team or so I was told, signed a while ago
How accurate has this source been in the past?

Don't know about UAB's source, I've heard it from a number of sources, Branch officials and one of Cooney's mates from Dublin who is now working here.

Kingspan were very loyal during Jackson/Olding saga....others no so
Correct. Kingspan's only request was that they did not play out the season of 17/18. They had no problem seeing him in the shirt in September 2018.

ScottishBrain may have been a doubter, the debts are real.
Browne has to take some responsibility as he succumbed to pressure from Miss Vodafone and Miss BOI.

Re: Ulster in Financial Trouble

No doubt Audrey Harrison has more than a few of these types of I&E scenarios on her lap-top.... The 2018-19 are the actuals from the UR 2018-19 report pp35-37. This is where ScottishBrian got his figures. There is no I&E/P&L table in the report and all values are from the commentary with some estima...
