Re: Biblical matters

I'll not condemn a man for his personal religious views (provided he's not hurting anyone else). I just thought smoking was an odd example. I don't smoke, but that's largely because it would statistically hasten my death, not because I can read between the lines of a particular translation of the B...

"Told you were a sinner" directly, Baggy? Or in the more general context of a sermon?
Careful here, he might send you a photo of some clown shoes and call you a naughty word

Re: Biblical matters

My guess is that this dickhead's view on everything would be, "if at all possible ban it" Wrong, not at all I'd also guess he is exactly the sort of arsehole who goes and knocks people's door to bring them the good news about his invisible friend in the sky. Again, also wrong I knew there...

Re: Biblical matters

Smoking??? Since when? I have no idea what your response means - but the point is, just as it doesn't say something isn't mentioned in the Bible doesn't mean that it's okay to practice from a Christian POV I just wanted to know which churches had taken a stand against smoking and when? Oh, none rea...

Re: Biblical matters

Bible doesn't say you can't be an elder and hold such views about being gay. I'm no expert but as the Bible wouldn't tolerate gay marriage, an elder is an extremely crucial position within the church, someone who displays wisdom on all things biblical and takes the bible's principals as their own (...

Re: Vs Exeter

I wouldn't have Harry Williams over Rodney. Speaking of which, what on earth must Australian international Greg Holmes be doing to not even be involved this week for Exeter? And Dave Dennis must be doing something similar to be stuck behind Horstmann in the pecking order. Good for you Ruckie but Wi...

Horstmann was at Quins I believe? Not entirely sure
Worcester I think?
He played with Neil Best for a time. Best used to give him dogs abuse on twitter.
Quins then Worcester, only racked up 4 caps in 3 years at quins though

Re: Vs Exeter

Their 8 is better than our 8 Shanahan must be on standby just in case Ruan is not actually fit or someone knocks p out before the match starts. Their collective 8 or their number 8? Or both? They are better by 5/8's versus 3/8's..... :duck: Yeah, agreed. Their props would probably start with Best i...
