Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Ben Murphy to Ulster is not an especially imaginative rumour for Twitter weirdos who enjoy making things up. I’d also heard mention of him going to Connacht, by Jackman iirc. They’ve just promoted a lad from the Academy though. Presumably, McDonald is coming back to us. Babbling Brook additionally ...

Re: Petrie departs…..

Interesting take Columbo and I agree but at the time one of the criticisms of Logan was that he was no where to be seen, no interviews, PR etc.

It’s also not true that we are producing no players. The majority of our pack is now home grown, or at least a respectable pack could be put out with a good home grown contingent. Warwick, Stewart, O’Toole, Hendo, Sheridan, Rea Jr, McCann, Rea Sr Granted there are some problems there, primarily at ...

Regardless, it’s really none of anyones business why he’s staying behind. Criticise Ulster all you want, but thinking there’s an entitlement to know anything, or to expect “more details to emerge” is poor. Privacy is not soft.

Re: Any word on the Academy?

On the topic of scrum halves, is Soper’s son not a leaver this year? He has played underage representative rugby?

Not that that is a measure of quality but if he was a leaver surely he’s worth a punt

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

I see the BT have regurgitated the SK rumour. Wouldn’t a decent journalist have been questioning the “customary” contractual clause (the exact nature of which is not clear from the article) that seems to have previously passed me by in a rather long time reading about sport. Will Liverpool face a m...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports

Sheridan is not a six like Henderson he is second row who can play six if necessary . Whereas T Beirne is a six who can play second row and does for Ireland due to the strength of the Irish back row . Sheridan will be in the second row when Henderson retires or goes abroad for the money because His...
