Re: Attendances
It was quite cozy on the West Terrace. We were shoulder to shoulder and our pints were in grave danger at times (Damn Ruan and his skill set). We'll need that extra 2000 for their body heat, come the wet December nights. We had a well behaved bunch of sheep botherers for company and they got a great...

Re: Ulster vs Dragons Friday 2nd September - updates
Top Knot was way off the boil tonight. Some poor decision making cost us, but we had enough in the tank to get the job done, even in that one dimensional style. Gilroy got seriously ploughed and he'll probably be out for next week. Can't grumble about a steady home win, good crowd, good company and ...

Re: Ulster vs Dragons Friday 2nd September
Cheers Dave. I tried to pull that one for a day off work, but they said it can't be a two year delay. Pullease don't let that toss pot from Q radio do the team announcements again. I've only been here five minutes and I cringed at his bumbling attempts. A rooster with tonsillitis would be more pleas...

Re: Modern Supporter Question
I'm hoping for guidance from my peers and I'm in no doubt if I step out of line, and revert to Wendyball type gurnin, somebody will fire a quick salvo across my bows..... Oh er missus I hear the laments of those who long for the days of old, but nothing stays the same and I look around at Spanners a...

Re: Modern Supporter Question
I stumbled upon this dusty old thread and it makes interesting reading. Being another ex Model (only non Grammar school to win the Schools Cup) pupil, I was forced to play nothing but Rugby in 1st year ( year8 in new money) and it turned out I was way better at it, than I was ever gonna be at footba...

Re: Ruan - Deja Vu all over again
It'd be a great move for him financially. Given the disparity between the money we get from Sky (£14 mill) and what the cheese eaters get from their TV money ( heading upwards of £90 mill), they'll Hoover up foriegn players and leave us with the crumbs. He has said he's happy here and his family is ...

My Son actually said the Murphys was quite good last Friday, but don't judge him harshly, he's a teacher....bless. Forced to take his holidays in that eight weeks in the summer and not having the sheer luxury of choosing when to take yer TWO FECKIN WEEKS.

Re: Ulster vs Dragons Friday 2nd September
I innocently assumed Guinness last Friday, only for the spotty yuth to give the one, barely audible, word answer 'Murphys' I had to have him repeat it, before I fathomed what he was attempting to convey. To watch him struggle with my change was a joy to behold . The Tight End bit is a throw back to ...

Muhuhuhuhuhuhahahahaha
He might be small, but he's a great wee worker.
Trust me, size matters. Try squeezing through those turnstiles in December, at " The National Stadium" (stop tittering up the rear) wearing yer big winter coat.
I'm much better now thanks.

Just try to watch Young Frankenstein and Blazzing Saddles, back to back.
You're aul head would explode with laughter. I may be going way out on a limb here, but I think they'd raise a smile on Andy Murray's coupon.
Wilder's timing is nearly as good as CP's

Re: Tickets for Champions Cup at Spanners
Brilliant. That's what I thought, but the email doesn't make it clear. Thankyou for the prompt reply, which flys in the face of our doubters, who seem to be of the misguided opinion that an answer to such queries, would be unlikely.
Many thanks. Roll on Friday night

Tickets for Champions Cup at Spanners
Am I correct in thinking a season ticket is all that I require for admission to the European Champuons Cup games at Spanners?
I've just had an email about 'Season Ticket holders priority booking' for these games.
Do I need to book, even though it states the season ticket is good for the home games?
