Re: Ireland ? in New Zealand
Any thoughts on the game? I didn't see it. Typical scrappy game with two thrown together sides with the one willing to have a go coming out on top ( see babas V England). Ireland were poor with casey, timoney, Coombes and aki the pick. Thought Mccarthy looked lost at times, shooting out of the line...

Re: Next season's Heineken Cup
I know it’s just the luck of the draw, but it’s a bit of a farce that the Prem, URC, Top 14 and champions cup winners are all in the same conference [emoji2357] (And of course it’s the same one Ulster are in) Does it not also mean we can't play them in the first knockout round with conference A pla...

Re: Contract Situation
Don't think the SA will find it that easy next year. Most European teams will see the home games against them as big occasions and be up for it. Throw in the Heineken cup, a smaller squad size and a competitive conference and they may not dominate as much as they expect. Sent from my SM-F711B using ...

https://fb.watch/dIdTsp_onM/ Link to a video from behind the line for the stormers last try. Shows how ulster got their numbering wrong and allowed the overlap despite being a man down. I was blaming madigan and cooney for not being in the line but the video shows we were left with all 3 front rower...

Re: U20s Summer Series
If ulster can bring at least 3-4 of those forwards through we will be in a good place over the next number of years.

Re: End of season depth chart
Addison and doak gives you the option of going with a 6/2 split with our upcoming strength in depth in the pack. In all seriousness though if we ever got to the stage of having 14 forwards capable of playing to a sufficient level it would offset the need to flog certain individuals for so long each ...

Re: End of season depth chart
Back row remains our glaringly obvious weakness and I'd go as far to say we have the least depth of any Irish province. Big questions remain over Jordi's legs and we are an injury away from rea and Jones starting. We need mccann and reffel to hit the ground running next season and challenge for the...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday June 11 2pm UK Time Premier Sports / RTE / URC TV / Super Sport
1. Bench not trusted 2. Bench not being used because they aren’t good enough and starting 15 knackered leading to tries. 3. Bench comes on and tries conceded. 4. We defend leads? Surely this is bad coaching/management. If the bench isn’t good enough or trusted then why are they on the payroll? Get ...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday June 11 2pm UK Time Premier Sports / RTE / URC TV / Super Sport
Putting the game on in the lounge would be worth doing every away game. what was the uptake? A good turn out? Would the cleaning bill (spilt milk/beer/pi$$) not make it unprofitable for each defeat? As per Soda, it was good. Better than I thought it would be. The lounge is a decent size and it was ...

Was trying to get my head around how they had an overlap with 14 men. Too sickened to watch back yet but it did appear moxham was left high and dry. That close to the line it needed to be man on man coverage, was moore on the other side?
