Re: Lions 2021

I'd start hendo in the row and put maro at 6 with Lawes and beirne on the bench. Aki at 12 with Adams and Williams replacing the 2 Scots. Hogg has been gash and VDM is a poor man's North.

Re: PRE SEASON FRIENDLY

My understanding is that 1m social distancing is not mandatory. Yes advisory only for outdoors, but I can't see UR not trying to limit numbers to adhere to it. I hope they are able to balance out the ST numbers around the ground. Having 8k will be like the good old days. Sent from my SM-P610 using ...

What would happen if the majority of season tickets are for the terraces? Could people be allocated seats for spacing purposes even if not paid for?

Re: PRE SEASON FRIENDLY

What's the latest word on actually being to go to either of these matches? I might fancy a wee trip to London to see family. Included in season ticket according to the blurb. UR must have an idea by now how they are planning on handling a reduced capacity. Should bite the bullet and state 2 jabs re...

Re: Lions 2021

Saffas going 6-2 was always going to happen. I'd have had hendo on bench along with bierne as I still don't believe bierne is physically a good enough lock. Garlands wants daly to kick a winning pen from half way obviously.

Billy V makes a return! Should be a good run out for us, even if the lions are missing.

The Katy Hopkins of rugby commentary. Knows exactly what he is saying all the time, in the knowledge it will gain clicks and revenue. His employers were happy to go along with it until he went to one of the untouchable topics, racism or sexism. Good riddance.

Re: The Golf

Ah well, maybe another time, Rory. Anyone know if there's any substance to Ian Paisley's claim? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/northern-ireland/57875443 Probably some truth to it. The open is on rotation so it was due back at some stage so if he's right he can claim some credit and if not who will rem...

Re: Lions 2021

Starting farrell and henshaw as a 12-13 allows a 6-2 split on the bench. A scrum half and daly ensures all positions in the backline can be covered with a bit of rejigging. The 1st test will be a war upfront so gats will want the ability to make significant changes if needed. Sent from my SM-G965F u...

Re: All the best Cooney.

(and the Lions snub) is the start of phasing him out. I wonder how much of Gatlands non selection of Sexton is down to what he has seen of him and his approach to others, from the outside looking in Sexton does come across as toxic. He's not toxic, IMHO he's reacting badly to the fading of the ligh...

Re: Lions 2021

I think hendo will make the bench. No point putting AWJ there if he is to be involved in the 23. Better to start your tour captain and being on a fresh Henderson with 30 to go.

He is a cracking prospect. I hope he keeps developing his all round game and not just pick up the stander role of running over people.
