Re: Jacob Stockdale once again wins it for Ireland!!

For 80 seconds I think I would have chanced it holding onto it, but I take the point on the risks involved in doing that legally. Something to work on. Do not give the ball away.
UR try the kicking away too, but invariably give the ball to the opposition 30/40 metres out!

Re: Time to move on

Can Boggy mouth nominate himself, for his mealy mouth reaction to the Irish victory.......apparently it wasn't exciting enough for him, and too defensive a game. Dinosaur or what?

Re: Jacob Stockdale once again wins it for Ireland!!

Can anyone explain to me why McGrath was box kicking into NZ arms on 79 minutes when we had possession?
Here you are guys , see if you can snatch a draw from us?
Unbelievable.

Yep
Unfortunately requires good throwing, good planning, quick thinking and good hands.
Perhaps too challenging for our current UR pack?

Re: Jacob Stockdale once again wins it for Ireland!!

Stickin Ta I bow to your superior knowledge and insight into modern lineout throwing. Mine is based on the winger ( ie me) throwing a 50/50 throw!. Does the same rationale apply to Ulster? It seems the more critical the throw ( on our 5m line or theirs), the more likely it is to be pear shaped. And ...

Re: What annoys people????

Who in their right mind thought it a good idea to put a button on the boxer style under underbunder? Imagine yourself at a match, you've had a few pints and just before halftime you are bustin' for a slash, you hotfoot it to the snake house and have unfastened/ unzipped your jeans. Just as you are ...

Re: Jacob Stockdale once again wins it for Ireland!!

Although I will say that Bagsniffer may have issues with him now that he scored a vital try to help the hated bogmen beat NZ. Look yokel, I hate every player in green, they are grand when they get the white shirt with the :red: on it. It shouldn't be beyond the understanding of any sentient being. ...

Re: Ulster v Dragons Friday 26th Oct 7:55pm Premier Sports 1

Could some of you forward chappies explain to me ( a mere former 13/14) what is going in the Ur line out? A throw in on the opposition 5 metre line is a cast iron shambles. Jumpers, calls or.........shock horror, ...... our UR and International captain? I don't think dragons lost any Los on their t...

Re: Mexico 2018/19

Dragons not a pushover? They're barely recognisable as a professional outfit. Jackman is a complete bluffer. We won't see this full turn out often this year, and should delight in how good they are as a team in support play, off the ball running and passing, both backs and forwards. Dragons not the...

I agree with Boggy 100%. Never thought I would say that.
I didn't see all of the game so in God's name what did zero do?
Quite happy to boo him at ravers but would feel better if I knew why!

Re: Ulster v Leicester

Yep, but it’s not easy unwrapping those Wurthers without spilling yer pint. Add that to getting out of yer seat to let some plonker past to go to the toilet, get more beer, or more grub to shove into their pie holes. Then we gotta let them back in. If you can’t hold yer bladder for 40 minutes, don’...
