Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Now that the Barret signing is confirmed can anyone explain what the pressing need is that allows Leinster to sign such as high profile player. I assume that this must have been approved by D4 and its not as if Leinster were short of talent Apparently to cover the Autumn International period. They ...

Re: Ulster's finances
Can anyone in simple terms list the budgets of the 4 provinces, including the value of central contracts?? What is the true gap? I don't believe anyone knows. Ulster is the only Province that publishes their financial accounts. Munster stopped publishing theirs a few years ago. It is said we are al...

Re: Ulster's finances
Leinster having the Aviva on their doorstep paying off massively for them with signings like this. The gap in rugby is getting wider between the haves and have nots. I think Connacht, Ulster and Munster will continue to struggle financially. There is perhaps some hope for Munster as they seem to ha...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Jordie Barrett linked with Leinster on their forum. Jackman had heard the rumour via a player apparently. He’s still got a year on his contract fwiw. Jackman reckons Leinster were looking at Jared Payne for attack coach but are becoming increasingly interested in 33 year old former Munster outhalf ...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?
Give the man a chance. I would settle for missing out on the top 8. We are better out of the ERC for at least another year.
It will be slow progress rebuilding the team.

Re: Clermont v Ulster, Saturday April 13 12:30pm (UK Time) TNT Sports - Actual Channel TBC
A number of years ago Ulster Rugby invited two club representatives of every club,on a phased basis, up to Belfast to watch a match. They had some food and drink before hand with a mix of Branch officials and visiting team officials .It was a great idea and much appreciated How is that a great idea...

My reckoning is that all on here are loyal Ulster fans who care. Nobody is going to be rushing off to support the Mexicans instead. As has been shown buying in expensive NIQ players is not the panacea for the problems. The problems are systemic and need a root and branch change. It will take time b...

Re: Other Champions / Challenge Cup
Been to lots of games, in plenty of sports, as, in effect, a neutral. I don’t support teams I don’t support (bar rare exceptions - I once went to Colchester v Walsall at Layer Road in an unsuccessful attempt to derail the away side because it impacted upon PNE’s promotion bid at the time). If pushe...

Re: Other Champions / Challenge Cup
Looking forward to Leinster v LR tomorrow. Nearly went but the risk of seeing thousands of happy part-time Leinster fans put me off. Interesting that most of the Irish pundits seem to be going for the Champs yet the bookies, who tend to be correct more often, make the home side 7 points favourites....

Re: Ulster's finances
"Last season, the IRFU converted more than €4 million of Munster’s “operational debt” into a long-term loan, meaning the province now owes the IRFU a total of €10.75 million when also factoring in the remaining sum owed for the redevelopment of Thomond Park in 2007/08. This conversion of operat...

Re: Teflon Man
D4 do care now, and rightly so, when we're running at a loss, we're a parasite draining the coffers. This feeling sorry for ourselves that we don't get the rub from D4 needs to stop, the wow me feeling sorry for ones self, the chip on the shoulder, its pathetic...... the IRFU is a business, if one ...
