Re: Ulster v Munster
Which begs the question "Are Ulster's European matches the hardest in the next 11 ?". A post on Munsterfans lists Munster's next 11 matches and the European matches are arguably the easiest 4.

Re: Contract Situation
I recall reading sometime ago that Ulster had something like £7m of a price cap on wages … excuse me I am incorrect but recall reading that was the amount.. If so I think it puts us above most of not all English clubs. I may be wrong but always feel that people are comparing apples and oranges when...

Jake Flannery
Jake Flannery rumoured by Jackman to be moving to Ulster.
Very classy in the Grand Slam U20 team but had a long injury after that and now in a log jam with Carbery, Healy (his U20 year) and Crowley (the next U20) year.

Re: Northampton 16th Jan
Talking of compliments, this is what their posters have said .... Ulster clearly have a bit left in the tank if they really wanted to turn the screw. Some very classy play across the pitch from them, Ballycoombe (apologies unsure of the spelling) has been a joy to watch. Their offloading game is qui...

Re: Northampton 16th Jan
Impressive spin passes by Marty Moore from the base of rucks - not just shovelling it out until #9 gets back in play. Good attention to detail by the skills coach etc. It can make a crucial difference.

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Do they have to use the whole squad in the U20 6 Nations as I think they do in the U20 World Cup ? If so, they might be saving players for other suitable matches.

Re: Rainbow Cup
I just don't like to see Cronin, Sweetnam and Hanrahan leaving and a raft of Saffers arriving. I am sure the Munster fans are also uneasy. I agree with the sentiment and some Munster fans are puzzled / uneasy but I think you've got your timing wrong on this occasion, Jetstream: Cronin was competing...

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
If there was a scenario in which Hendy, Carter, AOC and Treadwell were all fit and firing, might it make sense to try Treadwell at #6 instead of Hendy (in a safe / less important match) ? On the basis that Henderson is more of a specialist 2nd row nowadays and Treadwell is fast enough to play BR. Ha...

Re: Saints v Ulster QF Saturday 8pm KO BT Sport 2
I could well be wrong but I can't think of any team bar Leinster in the last 10-15 years who have won this and then gone on to win either their domestic league or the champions cup. And with Leinster it was an aberration that season. Last week's victims won this in 10-11 then the Prem in 11-12, the...
