Re: Squad depth 2024/25
Really enjoyed reading your detailed analysis of our squad for next season. I tend to agree with most of what you say however I unfortunately have to say that I don’t share your optimism for our existing options at 10. I don’t feel Doak has improved as a player at s/h over the last few seasons and l...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?
So much romantic / sentimental nonsense posted here, get Pienaar back get Payne back, surely they have to appoint Willie John McBride to the coaching staff and Jack Kyle is a shoe in to the head coach position if only he was still alive.

Billy Vunipola v Ulster Back Row
Billy Vunipola tasered twice by 10 Spanish coppers, sedated and strapped to a hospital bed after a night on the lash with the Saracens squad in Majorca. Quite impressive Billy, if it was one of our back row an Eventsec steward would probably have put him in a pair of Ann Summers furry handcuffs and ...

Clermont will be a big ask however they bear no resemblance to their team of 5-6 years ago. They beat the Cheetahs 27-22 yesterday in what was Ruan Pienaar’s very last game of professional rugby. Have a great retirement Ruan and thank you for all you did for Ulster rugby!

Re: Petrie departs…..
Really not inspired by this appointment. When he was in charge of the SE Trust I was on a waiting list for 4 years to get my Mount Merrion Turnstiles removed. These were 4 very painful years and the only reason I survived was the fact that long suffering wife Audrey massaged Sudocrem onto the affect...

Re: Football at Ravenhill?
The residents of the Onslow, Ravenhill and Mt Merrion areas can breathe a sigh of relief as the game will not be played at Ravers. I would have been very much against such a game being played however UR have lost a significant additional income stream as they were bound to have cashed in by introdu...

Re: Ospreys away Sunday 18th Feb 3pm
That show was completely and utterly unacceptable against a team who are at best 100% mediocre. 3 forward passes in the first half sums it up. Totally not right to single out an individual but the performance of Flannery was as bad as I ever seen from an Ulster #10
