Re: Mass Cull at Connacht
rian Tuohy and Michael McComish are both joining the Sportsground side from English clubs, Cornish Pirates and Otley respectively, as Connacht coach Michael Bradley rebuilds for the 2009/10 campaign. Tuohy impressed Bradley during last year's Churchill Cup tournament and the Limerick-born centre-cu...

Re: Magners League 'Dream' team ...
You have to take these things with a pinch of salt, i'd say a lot of these players got in because of H Cup and International performances rather than playing consistently well (or even playing) in the Magners. Unfortunately for Ferris, Elsom has probably been the stand out player in the entire leagu...

Re: ulster miss out yet again!
Im finding it quite funny that the 3 or 4 people arguing for Andress and Stevenson only have 2 or 3 posts each, they have all just joined within the last day or so and they have only left comments in one thread Perhaps you should do your research a little more thoroughly, admittedly i'm not a regul...

Re: ulster miss out yet again!
Actually Leeds, Exeter, London Welsh, Coventry, Bedford, Nottingham, Doncaster, Cornish Pirates, Plymouth Albion, Rotherham and next Season Moseley are all full time clubs. Having watched both AIL 1 and national 1 this season i don't think the top AIL would challenge many National 1 clubs bar Newbur...

The 'plank' strikes again
Justin Harrison has left Bath with immediate effect after requesting an early release from his contract. PA Sport understands Harrison, the former Australia lock, has pre-empted the results of an internal misconduct investigation and left the club. Bath chief executive Bob Calleja launched the inqu...

Yeh but there's no excuse for getting Tuohy instead of Stevenson, apart from wages probably!

Re: Season Review
I can't believe we are seriously going into next season with only those 3 signings, look at all the players leaving; Steiner, Dewey, Del Fava, Carley, Dawson, Fatpot, Hannah; essentially 2 12s, 2 hookers, 1 prop, 1 7 and 1 SR. We have brought in 1 (decent) hooker, 1 (completely untried) SR and 1 (go...

Re: Scarlets v Ulster
Uncontested scrums by the looks of it. Utter boll0cks, 2nd match in a row i've watched today that's gone down that road, something needs to be done about. an extra prop, a 23rd man if you will, should be on the bench for such occasions. Scrum was probably our best weapon as well!
