Re: Team for AIs

Sexton should be nowhere near the matchday 22.
and why not? we have no adequate flyhalf cover whatsoever (paddy wallace is a centre, NOT a 10)!!

Re: Kids on the pitch

sorry to burst everyones bubble but its got nothing to do with UR. the health and safety legislation has come from top brass at magners league, and any team with fans running onto the field after the fulltime whistle will be 'heavily' fined each times this happens. UR have therefore taken the steps ...

Re: Big tom dropped

So people have been calling for Ferris to be in the Ireland team even though he got a yellow card this season but Caldwell who has been playing better than Ferris(different positions i know but in terms of work in tight and loose) and who only got one yellow card is being called to be nowhere near ...

Re: Big tom dropped

well...he probably didnt assert himself well in training with the squad and was dropped. dont agree whatsoever with the 'buckley-bashing'. what does pace have to do with tighhead props anyway? the guy is a monster, a solid presence at the scrum and excellent at counter rucking. he has been second fi...

Re: Team for AIs

to be honest...il be happy if: a) quinlan gets a start (long neglected in the ireland squad and hardly off the pace of international rugby if he hasnt been given any game time at this level) b) sexton gets a big game under his belt to see what hes made of(all blacks?) c) we mix and match players and...

Re: The Lions test team

i do love these things! if it was picked 2moro id go for... 15 Nick Abendanon (been electric for bath this season, and any suggestion of kearny is quite frankly - daft) 14 Bowe 13 BOD 12 Hook 11 Williams 10 Cipriani (debate between danny, ROG and hook) 9 Blair 8 Jones (c) 7 Wallace 6 Haskell 5 Wyn J...

Re: Isaac Boss - why bother

one of the most important things to remember is that he had a horrible game against Stade. box kicking was horrendous (albeit into the wind, but not an excuse for a pro) slow at rucks, poor passing and numerous knock ons. but in general what other choice do we have? willis and marshall are up and co...

Re: Positives and Negatives against Stade Francias

I note again the" Boss beaters" are out firstly kicking - in the first half Ulster played against the wind thus it was difficult to kick for lenght with any degree of confidence and as Cables has pointed out Stade have two drop kick specialists thus he should kick the ball into touch and ...
