Re: Ulster Vs Harlequins Sat 7th Dec @ 15.15 BT Sport

Good stats indeed although even under the fateful last Kiss/Gibbes season, the hone record was ok i think. Kiss only lost 1 home game that season iirc (Leinster) and Gibbes lost one of his first at home to Edinbrugh (mind you, his mind was jet lagged in the build up, what with the short refuelling s...

Re: In Defence of Schmidt, Ireland's RWC and where to now?

Waffle is being very kind to Farmer Rory. No other team underestimated the slippery ball and humidity quite like Ireland allegedly did. Even the Scaats haven’t used it as their excuse for a very crap tournament. If genuinely true then in this day and age of professionalism, someone in the backroom s...

Re: Ulster Vs Harlequins Sat 7th Dec @ 15.15 BT Sport

I’m guessing Ludik Baloucoune Luke M McCloskey Stockdale Burns Cooney Marcel Reidy Jordi AOC Hendy Marty Moore Herring EOS Bench : Warwick, McBurney, TOT, Tredwell, Rea, Shanahan, Johnston and Faddes Assuming all of the above are fit (Burns may be a doubt?) then the only debates would be around 1 wi...

Re: Team for Scarlets

:duh: :duh: :duh:

How could I forget Faddes.

In that case Faddes at 15, Ludik at 13 and McCloskey at 12 although expect Faddes at 13 and Ludik at 15.

Re: Team for Scarlets

My team, subject to fitness below. With 2 big games coming up against Quins and a few guys either badly needed for those games or who could do with a break, I would be resting quite a few from last week. Would like to see Addison, Stockdale, Luke M and Cooney given a rest this week, or at keast not ...

Indeed. Forwards seem to be more aggressive this season and defence recently has been excellent and well organised. Well done Jared

Re: 150 club

Even all of the home games would be some effort. From beating Stade in 99 to getting hoked at Ravers by the likes of the Scaaarlets (albeit a good Scaaarlets side). Strangest defeat for me was the one to Northampton 2nd Xv at ravenhill after we had beaten their 1st xv at Franklin Gardens the week be...

Moore, EOS, Hendy, Marcell and Jordi from the pack should not be in the 23 on Fridsy.

Mccloskey is one of the very few starters from last night whom I would start against Scarlets on Friday. I think he needs the gametime.

Bath could yet do us some favours.
Indeed. They are at home first to Clermont in the double header. Could do with Bath winning at Quins today and taking 4pts

Re: Ulster v Clermont

Agree Frank. Ulster are not a top 4 european side so even another quarter final would be a decent return.we also had a scrum in complete disarray for the final quarter on a wet night with lots of handling errors so all in all i’d take it.
