Re: Ospreys v Ulster MoTM?

Free weekend, but I'll bet Marcell does a better free weekend than any of the others so I am going to vote for him again this week.

Re: Ospreys v Ulster MoTM?

Marcell again for me. Far from a glamour fixture for someone of his calibre but led from the front in all aspects. Ulster is truly lucky to have him.

Re: Ulster v Benetton Friday October 2nd 8:15pm KO

Carter looked like he woke up in the last 10 mins before he was subbed but thought he was disappointing before that. I am all for giving him some time as he didnt play much pre injury but really needs to up his game.

Re: Ulster v Benetton MoTM

Marcell was Ulster's best player.

Maybe I should copy and paste that for the rest of the season.

Re: Ulster v Benetton Friday October 2nd 8:15pm KO

I thought Marty made an excellent contribution to tonight game. For such a big man he has really soft hands and distributes the ball well in tight situations. Added to that he lasted 65- 70 minutes which is a good stint for a prop these days I can't judge how well he scrums - but the Ulster scrum l...

Re: Ulster v Benetton Friday October 2nd 8:15pm KO

Fez said after about ten minutes that it could be a long night for Benetton. If we're not careful it could be a long night's celebrating for Benetton. We've gone to sleep. Too many soft tackles. If this was a normal season opener then fair enough but Ulster are missing and slipping off tackles and ...

Hume and Moore has a lot of potential as a pairing, their skills dovetail pretty well together with Hume's great physicality and athleticism, and Moore's real game intelligence.
I am sure Marty would be flattered by your comments about him :D

[quote=damianmcr post_id=695351 time=1601588506 user_id=1938] Different rules for sports teams. Unfortunately according to NIdirect those rules don't apply to Ulster. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, and the real rules exist somewhere in a filing cabinet in a port...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Well you could just flout any official requirements by not wearing a mask on the tube and then make up some Bull story about you just took it off for a minute to make a call. Oh and apparently also forget sometimes when you run in and out of a shop. And I thought only Shinners blatantly ignored any ...

Re: Toulouse v Ulster Heineken QF

As Rory Best would say "ach look"...overall a Pro14 final and Euro QF represent a very decent season so let's take it. The big negatives were :- - well beaten in both knockout games : not even close - performances post restart have been poor - difficult to see how ulster kicks on from here with curr...
