At least we had an occasionally dangerous attack tonight.

Nice to see JC looking brighter and JS getting heavily involved.
Thought both wingers looked much better. 1 shocker aside, Addison at 13 played very well alongside big Stu.

Scrum a major worry, lacing quality and depth there. If Marty is done then we are in big trouble next season. Having said that, both EOS and Wilson put themselves about tonight and did well. Lineout was generally decent. Sheridan with a couple of steals was good to see as ulster rarely do that. Murp...

Izzy may not have admitted to pausing to get his timing right? Kinsella and Casey on the 42 reckon it was a penalty try but were happy enough with the incident at the end. Jackman said the tackle needed looking at but thought the knock on went backwards if he touched at all. There was a general fee...

Re: The run in

Lack of bonus points this season taking its toll. Bulls, Lions, Connacht and Cardiff all at home were the kind of games where these are needed.

Has anyone yet mentioned that Cardiff have won 3 of their 18 matches this season? I don't see anyone getting carried away yet Justin and if they are they are deluded. Whilst I don't buy it , people could also mention that all bar one of their defeats have been by less than 7 (at least I think that'...

Defence my not be his strength but I don't think it's that bad.

Stockdale's basic error count is far too high

I wouldn't write off Murphy after 5 games. Lucky tonight but let's see if they can build some confidence from this. He walked into a total mess. CEO going, star player going and unlikely to be replaced and a squad where all was not well. When you see what Sheridan is delivering it's a mystery as to ...

Thought McIlroy had a fairly decent game and whilst not spectacular, also thought Will Addison had his best game back from injury. He was very solid, carried well and put in a lot of good tackles.

Ulster only have 2 scrum halves capable of starting. Not great for Doak but we have to muddle through this season. At least he got a run of a few games for now.

Flannery should get a few games too. Best environment to see them both in

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

When looking at who is on a central contract it's clear that the irfu has been generous to ulster by giving one to Hendy, now ireland's 4th choice lock.

Re: Ulster's finances

Wished they'd signed him for more than a few months as it may have tempted some of their backs to look elsewhere (albeit munster, Connacht, anywhere but ulster right now ) .

Instead they'll just suck it up for a few months
