Re: Semi Finals

I wish I hadn't used the reference to counting chickens in my original post as it seems to have detracted from the point I was making and allowed others to focus on that part of the post. While I have every faith that we will achieve a top 4 place (home or away I don't know?) in my very clumsy way I...

Re: Semi Finals

Never mind counting chicken's about where a semi and a final will be played, what date it might be on, how many tickets we'd get and what hotel deals might be about...one thing is certain we play Dragons on Friday 6th so get to Rodney Parade and lend some support or all of the rest will be academic....

Re: URSC BBQ 2011

Doesn't leave much time for supporters to get back from the Dragons match so I would assume that its an either/or and not both. Would like to think that considering the importance of this final league fixture that giving the team our support will rank higher than a burger and a bun...look forward to...

Re: Where to Stay - Northampton, MK or elsewhere

Don't want to step on toes or appear like some sort of know-all but have you tried www.skyscanner.co.uk to sorce a cheaper alternative. Just try finding best routes from Belfast (any) to Uk (any). Done it just now to see what was about and can find flights BHD - East Midlands (not too difficult to g...

Re: Weather for Bath ..

Just back from Bath and can confirm still no noticeable snowfall. Some light fall earlier but sun out and it goes as quick as it lands. Tonight could be a differnt story of course but IMHO the weathermen are guessing!

Re: Bath away

They do prefer ticket holders to use the gate marked on their ticket for access but not fussy to the point they will turn you away from an alternative. Really they are doing it only to avoid you having to walk to your correct area once inside and annoying people who are already seated. There are fou...

Re: Bath away

several bars in ground, on each of the four sides plus some mobile units but only one clubhouse (directly behind terrace). Unlike scoop bar though there is no restriction of access to the first level so that's a good place to meet before kick-off and again after finalwhistle, wait one hour after tha...

Re: Bath away

Mike you probably are already aware that your hostal is indeed very central as its positioned pretty evenly between the Abbey and the Roman Baths. Your room would be less than 10 minutes stroll to your seat in the IPL and the hostal itself is situated above a very large music/bar/pub called Belushi'...

Re: Bath Watch

Newcastle v Bath cancelled this weekend unsurprisingly due to weather conditions. I wonder does this break in play favour Ulster or Bath? Is it better to have a match this week and go into the HCup fixture with a team who are playing regularly or is a rest from competive rugby more beneficial? I wou...

Re: UR Travel to Cardiff (Magners) & Bath (H Cup)

Does anyone have an idea of when we will be able to get tickets for the away game to Bath? When is the Ulster allocation going on sale or can we buy direct from Bath? Tickets sold via Bath go on sale to Bath Season Ticket Holders from Monday 8th November, then from 15th November they extend that to...

Re: Harlequins Pre-season fixture confirmed ..

Possibly should have a thread of its own but surprised UR still not reporting the fixture with Bath Rugby which had been confirmed on the Bath site last Friday. More details can also be found on the FRU link below. Ulster Rugby v Bath Rugby on Friday 13th August 2010 at Ravenhill kick-off 19:30 http...
