Re: New trial of law amendments

If you are awarded a penalty at a lineout why would you take the lineout again. If you are close to the opponets line you take the points or opt for the scrum with the intent of getting a try or penalty try. If you are further up the pitch surely you would take the penalty and kick for touch and tak...

IH

What has been wrong with Ian Humphries.
In the last 3 matches he started against Connacht and has come on as a sub in the last couple of matches and each match gone off.

Re: Anscombe breathes a sigh of relief

How can Ruan be expected to mentor Paul Marshall and Paddy Jackson at the same time.
If NOC rejoins has he improved that much in 12 months to justify the no 10 position or mentor PJ.

Re: Anscombe breathes a sigh of relief

No doubting that Bowe and Wilson will add class to us. But we need strength and depth to the squad. Humphries will be replaced by Jackson who still needs development (possibly needs a No 10 to bring him on for 2 years) but this season we have the use of both players. Whitten is an experienced player...

Re: Anscombe breathes a sigh of relief

I,m not convinced that we are going to have a stronger squad next year. At pressent we are gaining Tommy Bowe and Roger Wilson but losing Falloon, Humphries,Wannenberg, Dannelli,Whitten. Even with another NIQ not sure we are better off. Anscombe will have his work cut out and will need 100% support ...

FINAL TICKETS ??????

I am delighted to have received my 2 tickets for the final. Seats are in Block M44 but can anyone explain why I was charged £60 each for UR and when I go on to Ticketmaster for the same section it shows £40 when you hover over the vacant seats in the same block?

Re: Ian Humprhies - Why

For Ulster to become a top European side on a regular basis we need to increase the strength of our Irish Qualified contingent. We have a strong Overseas contingent. Players like Roger Wilson and possibly Tommy Bowe is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately our weak link in No 10 as we have be...

Re: Ian Humprhies - Why

I would take Ian Madigan of Leinster. Irish Qualified and will get no where in the shadow of Sexton.
