Re: Where are people staying in London?
Travelodge kew bridge You are really near O'Riordans which is an old school Irish boozer. They used to do lock-ins there and the latest I've left was about 5 in the morning and they were still serving... don't know if they still do it or not! If the weather is good, the pubs along the river by Stra...

Re: In praise of...
It will be up to the boks... they have the 4 nations and an AI vs Ireland in November and Ulster must release players if they ask for them. must they? why so mikerob? i stand to be corrected by your goodself, but what leverage does the SA rugby union hold over ulster? i could understand the players...

Re: Doak deserving of more credit
Have Edinburgh registered this new signing for European competition?(Craig) Laidlaw has settled in quite well at 10; he can kick goals and sweep ball away to wide channels just as well as Blair so they can play a high-tempo.

I'm not impressed with your spelling of the word colander! It is much better though now that not all laundry is being aired in public even if it is a tad frustrating.Cornerfleg wrote:I'm actually quite impressed with how the UR information caulendar has been waterproofed.

Will the hotel attached be offering their car parking facilities. Would make the whole thing rather convenient if they did and probably get a right few in.

Re: The Aviva
Echo the thoughts about stadium being a nightmare to get into. My first time using the red route this weekend, anyone else using this route and if so what pubs would you recommend pre match? Also for beers during the match during internationals you can by plastic bottles at 5yoyo without having to q...

Re: 4 weeks for Afoa
Surely its unfair on one particular player to issue an extra week as a deterrent. The ban itself should be the deterrent, I doubt very much if next week a player goes into a tackle and lifts his opponent up in the air to drive him into the ground is going to think "hang on a minute I might be ...

Re: 4 weeks for Afoa
Correct Mike - I have read that one also. The Judicial Officer determined that 1 week should be add to the 6. This was NOT for not pleading quilty - it was a decision to combat a pattern of offending within the game generally. Agree with you completely Cables, if he is unfortunate at all its is sim...

Re: Pedrie leaving confirmed!
Think this is the right time for him to leave, not going to be in the 1st choice back row next season. Hasn't had the same form this season as he did last but been a tremendous signing for Ulster and wish him all the best for the future.
