We should try and get Neil Best on the cheap now.
He will hardly want to play Div 1.

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh
Why are we posting a "Not considered due to injury list" each week. We never start the season with one, and players are missing due to injury, but we lose a few and out it comes.
If the management begin the week with an excuse culture then where do the players go?

Lineouts leave ulster looking for anwers
Line-outs leave Ulster looking for answers By Niall Crozier Monday, 2 November 2009 Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin is anxious to get to the bottom of what went wrong with his side’s line-out at Thomond Park. After watching Ulster lose 24-10 — a margin which he felt flattered Munster — he pointed to t...

Big-al wrote: I said this last season and i'll say it again, Mike Ross would be perfect for Ulster, he'll not make the Ireland squad until he comes back from England and i think his contract ends this summer. He can also play both sides of the scrum. He is the best replacement for Fitzey and/or you...

Re: We're going to get hammered in Europe
I accept that we are not going to win the Heineken Cup, but I have faith, call it blind if you want, but I still have faith that these boys will produce some performances in the HC that i'll be proud of and will make my season. Some people question the players desire, heart and passion for the jerse...

Re: Williams picks squad v Dragons.
I'd go with the same team again, with the replacements that replaced injuries starting if they have not recovered.
I thought it was the best away performance for a while and the boys deserve another chance to get the first win of the season

Re: Redevelopment shorts
mikerob, i'm glad someone else has actually realised that we are in the balance of falling behind and never catching up. The stand above the terrace is a major positive move forward and although the capacity decreases the revenue benefits are massive and will hopefully allow ulster to hold onto the ...

Cables
it is obvious enough for me after the comments made about websites by MR in his interviews last year, the forum being removed from ulsterrugby.com and when people who deserve to have a car park pass close to the ground are not given one because no one in the branch reads this website.

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Llanelli
Big-al That is the sort of negative rubbish that has made this message board into a farce and the main reason it is not taken seriously by anyone involved with Ulster Rugby Last night the boys stuck at it right to the last minute, last year we wouldn't have gotten a losing bonus point. The condition...

Re: Fans opinion, team for Llanelii
Boris I like the look of that team altho i'd have brady on the bench. Hanna has only played 30 mins, after a year out. Brady has been good and i don't blame him for the lineout not functioning against worcester. It seemed like jumpers and lifters weren't singing from the same page. I hope Botha is r...

Re: Ulster squad for Worcester
Neil F You aren't correct in stating that a tighthead scrummages with his right shoulder. A tighthead scrummages with both shoulders, left against oppostion hooker and right against the opposition loosehead. the aim of the tighthead is to remain straight and take as much ground as he can when a righ...
