Re: Michael Lowry the new Jack Kyle
Like I have saying for a long time. He’s a star but let’s not get ahead of ourselves yet. When will the others I have mentioned come through. Only a matter of time if all goes to plan! Re: Who will decide
Can’t wrap my head around the decision. The complete lack of spine from the IRFU and Ulster rugby is a disgrace. I’m sure the current squad feel fantastic about playing for Ulster rugby going forward. Henderson must be feeling ecstatic

I hope if PJ & SO are found not guilty that they remain with Ulster.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
I'd have neither, it's time to stop hiring mercenaries unless they are exceptional, neither Wasp meets that criteria. Ulster needs players who are invested in the shirt, a bit of the GAA mentality of parish above all, fewer and better NIQs would suit my thoughts, no more dross and with the 5 year p...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
I think the figure is 150 lads on various rugby programmes. 260 I think is the official figure, that includes schools and clubs. They start with larger numbers in the youngest grade then cut back to the best players later that year as they see who has potential and the right attitude. I was involve...

He's a second row now by all accounts, no matter if fans believe he belongs in the backrow or not.Dave wrote:I just copied Bayern's list and added a few. I also put Henderson to the backrow where he belongs.

Re: TMO deciusions!!!
Another guff TMO decision last night in Canada Scotland Rory Jackson got run over by a Canadian backrow, who then got a red hard as Jackson got his head in the wrong place Saw that, pretty incredible. Never a red. Shocking, horrible decision. It's going away from being a totally physical sport with...

Re: Ulster Rugby signs Butterworth and Reidy
Two low key signings in an area of need. Hopefully they work hard and develop into good back row players for us.
Something tells me Butterworth might become a decent squad option. But good luck to both lads, they should get plenty of opportunities at 7 next season at least.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Exactly this Windeos, if true. Do we want someone quite as openly defeatist, I'm pretty sure Joe Schmidt wouldn't. If he did come and lock horns with Henry and at least gain some parity he'd be in green before he knew it. Exactly, which I think he is capable of doing. If he was even competitive wit...

Re: Ulster's Money
Any idea how much we are spending on the Academy? None, but I heard an additional £400,000 went in this year, no idea it that's true. What I am told is that some of Humphs mates made an utter clusterballix of it but Clarke has now a plan in place and 200 plus 15-19 year olds, all with specific plan...

Re: European Rugby Champions Cup Draw
Tough group but no matter what group we ended up in as 3rd seeds it was going to be difficult. I'm confident we can handle the Tigers and even Toulon at home at least. We seem to have trouble against the Scarlets at times, especially away from home if last season was anything to go back. All in all,...
