Re: Ulster Video Highlights 2013/2014
Rooster, thanks a bunch for this. I was working and red button would not record. Does anyone know what minute (roughly) PJ made the try saving tackle on Tin Duck? I have heard a lot about it and want to FF to that magical moment. Cheers again, Rooster.

Re: Montpellier vs Ulster
Deccie did turn it around at scrum time and did well to last almost the full 80 on Friday. Afoa on the bench for this one. The toughest call is at 12. Marshall is solid but for me Olding adds a bit of craft at 12. His passing is better than LM and he offers a left footed kicking option. More skilful...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster vs Tiggers
Positives: - A win - 2nd row & back row. I thought that Tuohy was immense - nearly always overlooked for plaudits but gets through a huge amount of work. - Jackson - an excellent game. In addition to his kicking etc his defence is solid. How long has it been since we could say that about an Ulst...

Re: The Rugby Championsip
Just finished watching it. What a truly fantastic game of rugby. In fact, what a great advert for professional sport.
Will go down as one of the great games.
Well done to both teams and the officials.

Re: Ulster v Tiggers
Agreed on the team - tough on Luke Marshall and Diack especially.
Rockover - on the question of Afoa - if he can even last 40 -50 minute he must start. Tiggers destroying Saints at scrum time today.
Quietly confident.

Re: Expectations/Dreams for the new season
Snipe, we are not champions. Leinster are. I agree that play off are a money spinning venture and I would prefer not to have them. However, 'Ulster' is not on the trophy and history will not remember us as champions. In an earlier post you asked how I could view failure as failing to win a trophy. F...

So much for the sale starting at nine. Folks leaving before 8.30 with bag loads of stuff. Not impressed TBH.

Indeed Snipe, many congratulations to Rory on his first start and on Tommy for coming through a pretty wretched time with injury to claim his place on tour. SUFTUM.

Re: Cowboy's Report and Summer Homework
the injury list was indeed horrendous for most of the season and was the main reason why so many younger players were 'blooded'. I hope that MA does not shy away from making bold selections of youngsters next season even if we have a full squad available because it keeps everyone on their toes and u...

Re: Player's Twitter Updates
The ties are grand. Some of the players ability to tie one correctly questionable, however. Also, looking at some of them, either they have swapped clothes with a smaller player or the tailor got metric and imperial mixed up. Some of the their jackets and trousers look a bit....'neat'. But as long a...

Re: Cowboy's Report and Summer Homework
I agree with the majority of the points. But accuracy is the key for me. Not just the physical execution of the game but in clarity of thought. Look at the Leinsters 1st try - a misread of the location of the drive left Williams, Tuohy and Muller on their arses and out of the game. We also need to b...
