Re: New Players........

Only putting this forward on this thread as Bootlace earlier said We are not probably in a position to match moneywise that of the other provinces eg tax breaks. The goverment has stated that it is willing to provide tax relief to foreign players for the 2011 CL Final if it is hosted at Wembly. Wemb...

The End of an Era

What a season it has been, one that I would rather put behind us and look forward to the one that lies ahead. We have had a change with Matt Williams eventually replacing Mark McCall even though it took more time than it should have. The season was long gone by the time MW took control. Also the del...

Re: Positives and Negatives: Ulster Vs Cardiff

The 2 big positives that came out of the game were David Pollock and Stephen Ferris both were excellent in attack and defence with some massive hits. Simon Danielli's try tonight was superb, he broke at least 4 tackles to cross the line. The negatives are the same as they have been all season, the b...

Re: Positives and Negatives: Ulster Vs Glasgow

Positives; Tom Court and Justin Harrison both had good games. We scored 4 tries. The season is nearly over. The Negatives (where to begin ) Defence was awful, Boss's kicking was awful though a kick is as only as good as the chase which was non existant, too many players getting isolated resulting in...

Re: New Players........

Newcastle releasing Matthew Tait and Toby Flood due to all 4 of their backs being away on international duty, Matthew Tait would be a good buy if we could afford him

Re: IRB have backed the Law changes

It’s of interest that the main supporters of the new rules is the ARU, who want to implement the new rules as soon as possible, bearing in mind that the last 2 Rugby World Cups Australia were defeated by a Northern Hemisphere team who destroyed them in the set pieces i.e. scrums, rucks and mauls t...

Re: IRB have backed the Law changes

Sorry Cables and to anyone else i might have offended , but i still believe this is the end of rugby as we know it, maybe the following article while rather long will explain it better than my previous rant From planet rugby website: Why change, just when were loving it? It's apt that the Internatio...
