Please can we suspend the Stockdale fullback experiment
He might be a great guy and a good rugby player. But given the performance yesterday and indeed form over the last 18 months, is it not time to admit the experiment should be suspended? It would also allow Ulster to play someone in their back line who actually was consistent/knew the position (e.g L...

Re: Farewell ......... SPARKY
In times of trouble you were there when we roared, you led the way. Your outfit changed but still the bear your heart, still big and caring is what we say. For all the waves and press ups we cheered Sparky our mascot, our fortress king! Others visited and left for it was him they feared the energy u...

Re: Glasgow Match - Going or Not - POLL
First post in a whole lot of years and sad to say NOT going. Something has to be done; since the glimmer of hope in 2011/12 UR has been on a downward slope with those at the top ultimately responsible. Fed up with excuses on all fronts and whimpering thankful acceptance of D4 cast-offs and policy. G...

Re: Thanks Guys, Good season.
As the title says "Thanks Guys" for a really enjoyable season with shed loads to watch, talk about and experience. Have added video diary of the last part of the season here: URFC 2010/11 PART 3 - Feb to May "I've got lunatics laughing at me from the woods" maybe how BML felt at ...

Re: It's rugby not football!!
Would he have reached for the card?.....possibly yes probably no, who is to know; RP has won us a few penalties this way....is that a reason to do it. Fundamentally I go back to the title of this post, its rugby not football and as such there is a code of conduct written or not that stands our game ...

Re: It's rugby not football!!
Yes the imaginary cards and getting in the face of the ref (fine line - but that is what you have a captain for) are not rugby I believe. Nor is this growing tendency at the breakdown to be arm waving, gesturing to ref and otherwise not focused on the play at hand. At least twice during the game we ...
