Re: Keith Earls
Don't get too excited. This was not an Ulster Team as we would know it . Players 'detected' so far: Kieran Campbell Darren Cave Andrew Maxwell Kieth Earls Richard Briggs Felix Jones Brian Tuohy who does briggs play for, i'd say ireland would do well if we could play someone like david kearney (robs...

Re: Ulster v Connacht live
I would like to see Matt given a run at lock when we are playing an expansive game, it'll add an extra dimension and bring a bit more pace than say del fava/caldwell to the game. He doesn't have the speed to be an international flanker

Thats my point, he hasn't been fit and when he has he's been rubish and struggling in the 'A' team, he is more like a flanker than a back, no flair what so ever, just all grunt and muscle

Re: Squad v Connacht
Henry is an ideal replacement for Wilson and has plenty of potential.
Carlo will add that bit of grunt and Caldwell always seems to play better with Del fava by his side instead of Harrison.
I hope to God Danielli and del fava opts to resign next season

Re: New Players........

Re: Should we try to sign this guy?
He'd be a waste of money, yes he is a good talent but there are plenty of young Irish players who would do alright (Leinster academy).
Sure he'd set a bad example to the youngsters in the team and would do more harm than good

Re: New Players........
If Ulster wanted some backs could we just nip to to the leinster academy and take some of theres, Felix Jones and Ian Keately would do nicely. This way we have young up and coming players with plenty of potential and more Irish players playing the game. Lienster have got a huge amount of talent play...

Re: New Players........
Apparently Mose Tu'ilia (sp?) the crusaders backrower and James Ryan (All black lock, 25) could be moving to europe next season. There is a good number of players out there like Ryan and Tu'ilia (sp?) who are young, with a handfull of international caps who would be just as good as the bigger player...
