Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Any word of our good friend Baggy in Spain? How is he managing? "Bored stupid in lockdown, otherwise as fit as a robber's dog!!" Interestingly the Region where he resides has the lowest incidence of Covid in mainland Spain. https://covid19.isciii.es/ The virus is self-isolating from Baggy!

Go Garage in Carrick, 99.9p for unleaded

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

The Spanish flu of 1918 killed 228k in the UK and 7.5k in Ulster (9 counties). That was about 5 in every 1000 people. Maybe the numbers would have been lower if the country han't been weakened, and so many doctors lost, in the Great War. Maybe vetilators would have helped? The advice in 1918 was "wa...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Our SF/DUP leaders have been a disgrace. Under a thin veneer of unity they have disagreed on loads of fundamental issues with Snarlene slavishly following UK govt policy with no regard to the local circumstances in NI. Jim Allister is right . Stormont in it's current form is not fit for purpose. I ...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

The lockdown is a deal softer than the Spanish one where you are not allowed out for a walk except to exercise a dog within 100m of your house; where only one member of a household is allowed out, even in a car; where the list of essential shops is more restrictive - no hardware stores for example; ...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Good luck Tender. I had the fever and severe cold-like symptoms for 3 to 4 days, started to feel better again and the constant cough didn't kick in for another 4 days after that. Of course this was back in January, so despite the symptoms being identical, it couldnt have been COVID19. Or could it? ...
