Re: Denis Hickie to sign for Ulster??

who do you put on the other wing then?? providing hes fit id have hickie ahead of danielli, trimble, nagusa, schifcofske without a shadow of a doubt... hickie, provided he's fit, is upto the standard we require at ulster...tbh i really cant see why people think that danielli is that good, i think pe...

Re: Denis Hickie to sign for Ulster??

I guess the logic is that Schifcofske is a full-back and he's playing on the wing....nagusa is a winger and isnt upto it....and danielli is a winger and is injured....and we dont have any other decent wingers!! i saw him in ranelagh in dublin a couple of weeks ago...dont know if he's currently playi...

Re: Team v Edinburgh

I like the look of thias team...willis will give us better service, ferris will be a bog boost, steiner can control things in the centre....my only complaint would be that schifcofske should be full back but i agree that nagusa deserves a 'break' whether the reason given for his benching is tirednes...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

Then why do people boo the ref, the other team etc, if they don't think it can make an impact. In my book booing a ref can have a negative impact,ie, harden his attitude against your team, booing the opposition can galvanise them as well as unsettling them, but i'm probably talking bullshit . Now m...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

Does booing our team have a positive or negative impact on the morale of our players?? Simple answer- positive or negative? It's not so simple.................i believe booing can impact both ways, but in this case i would like to think they would take the booing positively. I don't know, but as a ...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

Unlike you UID................i'm not insisting on anything............and if U/R decide to implement such a pompous attitude i reckon they'll be giving tickets away soon. I would be interested in your views on the following question: Does booing our team have a positive or negative impact on the m...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

A 'Supporter' by its very definition is someone who helps and assists in order to support a team. Does booing help us support our team?? Does it help our team in any way?? I think not. Does it impact on the team- our team- in a negative way??? Does it tarnish the reputation of all Ulster fans who do...

Booing your own team- you are a disgrace

I dont care whether people were booing the ref, booing the team, or booing the quality of the beer in the beer tent, anybody at that match who was booing should stay at home as we dont want their kind of so-called supporter tarnishing the good name of ulster rugby fans we surely have some common sen...

Re: Captain

I really do not think there is anyone else capable. Not only does Rory Best lead by example but his heart is always on his sleeve. He calls the shots, he takes it personally and is very much in charge. He says the right things and is capable of motivating his players and does exactly that. Rory is ...
