Re: Live Coverage Stade V Ulster

Commiserations to Ulster. I am sure your preparations would have resulted in a better outcome if the weather had been ok and Brussels had gone ahead. Irish rugby really needs you to get back into contention for the ko phase of the heiny. Success brings success is the message of recent years. We had ...

Re: Looks like Tommy isn't coming back to us....

While he would be very welcome at the RDS, your needs are greater than ours in the backs department. Glowing in the aftermath of the dismantlement of the Scarlets on Saturday I may be but Shaggy scored a sensational opening try for us and we have lots of young players coming through as well as Fitzy...

Re: Escape route from Croker?

Hwood, lots of changes since the 1970s in that part of town which was a no go area then. Gardiner Street was about as bad as it could get then - don't know how you could live there. It has improved massively along with the surrounding areas especially closer to the new yuppie developments on the nor...

Re: Escape route from Croker?

What Brits Out signage? Park in the nice social housing they built in the 80s, not in the flat complexes.

You lot are almost as nervy as my D4 friends who only cross the river to travel to the airport. They don't eat their young on the northside, well hardly ever.

Re: Escape route from Croker?

I really think you should follow my suggestion of using the tunnel and heading right for Croker. I have left the salubrious surroundings of the south side to park off Sherriff Street in my large tank for some years and apart from being offered a needle exchange it's fine. ( I jest!) Also these days ...

Re: Escape route from Croker?

local knowledge: Take the Port Tunnel and turn off to the right just before you get to the Point and the north quays. Head along Sherriff Street and park in the cul de sac nearest but before the railway bridge and walk up. The toll is only €3 for using the tunnel at the weekend. Five minutes walk to...

Re: Ireland Team for Fiji

Horgan has been playing first choice for Leinster and has been in excellent form. It's just he has been passed out by a better player in Bowe but still worth giving a go. Dempsey, by the way, should not be forgotten even though he is finding it hard to get game time. He is still a great player when ...
